I can be patient and wait for another clutch that would fit the specific character I'm trying to get bonded.

Fireling due date: Thursday, June 28th.
Spashal rules:
--(It's a full house clutch, but Cyprium, the rascal, dug around in my pile of 'reject' kittens and managed to save them from the fate of anonymity -- you may get a kitten that wasn't on the preview page, but you'll still get a kitten if you apply)
--(Write a fire-based story or submit a fiery flier (preferably with a red coat so that I can add it to the red batch) to get a true fireling instead of a half-breed)

The thing keeping me from releasing it early like I'd threatened earlier is that I haven't finished colouring the next clutch. XD That will hopefully be fixed by the end of tonight!

Sorry I don't have a sneak-peak for you! Usually by this time I'd have the next pickup page hiding on the site if only the person searching knows what to type in for a URL. XD Think super-feathery/fluffy, if you want a hint!

Oh, well, now that I know that. XD Actaully, you probably mentioned that before and I just commented on it now.

And I kinda tried for a fire theme with mine...I just had it written before I read that. Either way is fine. Iarion is tenciaaly immortal and could bond with thing if anything. That would be funny...it would piss him off, sorta, and make Shauhassa tease him all the time. LOL *shrugs* Anyway, I'm just glad I'm in the "timeline" for Treval where all the plotness for it is underway.

Of course, I could send you one of my red fire Ortari for the Red Clutch. XD Need to get them out in the Nexus anyway. LOL

Here's a quick (not quite finished) preview of the next clutch, just because it looks super fluffy and I'm really enjoying the colour scheme!

Man, I wanted to get at least 30 of these guys done today but I only finished one. XD I may wind up extending the deadline by a day or so while I catch up -- other online things are eating big chunks of time for me, too.

Wow that one is so complicated! I love the texture going on (and the crazy structures at the end of the double-tails).

I hereby ban you from "that other online thing" for tomorrow (I'll handle it and put people onto the list, no worries!). You can come back to it on...the 29th (Friday). Only if you want to, but I know you meant to work on dragons tonight and the other thing got crazy out of hand. Haha! <3

Neo, if you can't edit the entry proper, I only need the code something like:

(Oh god I checked the community and there's -more- applications. XD *cackles* The joys of DA and twitter to advertise!)

Delyar: For each clutch I do roughly 30 'trial' dragons, then I pick the actual clutch members from amongst my favorites (hence why there are roughly half black and half 'other colours' in each clutch!) (The next guy is see-through... gah, complicated. XD)

Phe: Fin-faux pas duly noted! XD The only reason I kept the head-fins about was because the mother had a little set on top of her head and the dad had 'em on the ears so... magical rainbow of skin-flaps ahoy! None of the next generation have any fin stuff going on, so it ought to disappear pretty quickly. ;) (Besides, I was on a watery/cormorant kick for a while! :P It's nice to go places I haven't yet with these guys!)

I just managed to get through checking out how many applications I have (so far. XD I think I've got everyone?)

There are seven story-forms and five stats forms after that. Some of you guys aren't going to get dragons as listed on the pickup page (eight of you, actually) so I'm going to be looking up your preference list, and try to match it up to similar looking guys, or with guys who have similar personalities/abilities.

(And Aireona's not here, but it's fair to list her)

IF you don't get one of the preview-dragons, would you rather I go off of APPEARANCE, PERSONALITY, or ABILITIES to match up a similar dragonling? I can't offer to put the new guys up on preview beforehand (I don't have access to them from work) but if you let me know, I can focus my search instead of making a best guess!

Let's go for appearance for this clutch for my character, that's how I picked my favorites this time around (looked at them from home so I could actually see them!). I can work with whatever personality/abilities he gets... XD

Appearance wise I would prefer something with fiery/glowy bits (I'm okay if not though!).

Ability wise I was aiming for temperature control, fire immunity (though I don't think that guy was on my list, whoops!), fire control, etc. Something fire or heat control related so it could live where I would like to place it, but in the end I can rework some stuff to give whichever I get a suitable survivable environment! (Ether will probably do back flips pampering his new companion).

XD You sent in a story, so you're getting a fiery one whether the one you picked was or not -- I need to alter the adult image to reflect their new fireling status, after all!

I'd love for you to go off appearance, as shallow as that may seem. I just fell in love with the stripey feet and glowing. :D Granted, I'll be happy with anything so long as it's an obnoxiously cheerful fire-flinging feathery thing.

I'm going to say go off appearance for me as well. XD; Though personality is a very close second, because the one I chose as my number one seemed to fit so well with what I'd picture my guy bonding, as well as having the appearance I was looking for.

But red, flamey, & stripey - I'll be happy.

Abilities/personality for me. And, if it ends being immortal, the bonding/sponsoring doesn't matter either since Khuarane only bond to other immortals.

Oh, but I liked the more solid ones. I'm opposite of Delyar. LOL

Shallowness towards the kits' appearance actually won out this time around with me, just barely. I ended up LOVING those wacky striped boots! XD

After that, abilities and personalities swayed me... not quite so much. What little story concept there was can easily adapt around anything I'm given, though fire magic would be most thematic. X3
