Work ate my day today, so while I have everything ready to go, I'll have to announce pickups and deadlines and new developments tomorrow! D: Sorry for the wait! Still adjusting to having a a daytime job after a couple of weeks of night-owl awesomeness.

I'm almost done with my first overhaul of a site, so tomorrow I'm going to try getting everything from here done.

Y'get so far and then just can't even stand looking at pages any more... especially when they're done in Page Builder and have all this extra crap code that needs to be removed in order to be 'clean'.... I like clean html...

Woo, new update today (finally!)

Shard, I gave you until Sunday for the extension on the latest black clutch, I hope that's enough... let me know if you want longer!

The latest red clutch has grown up! Please have 'em paged by Thursday, May 28th. (Someone double-sponsored, woot! XD)

Aaand, that said, allow me to introduce the half fireling clutch that's showed up, all rolly-polly and... burning things. XD There's a special caveat with this clutch:
If you write a fire-themed story, or send a fire-themed dragon in to fly -- either of your own drawing or from another clutch, your dragon will be upgraded to full fireling status! That means that they'll get immortality, chaos, balance OR order control, and even a different image. X3 If you send in a stats/suggestion application, you'll still get one of these guys, they'll just be mortal, like most other Nexus-based dragons. Applications close in two weeks, or on Thursday, May 28th!

That should be everything for now!

Haha, I hunted out those guys last week or so, and the two with multicolor boots crack me the HELL up. XD I was all "WTF did that come from?" and then I peered at the firelings and realized they do indeed have subtle markings in the gold! :O

I ended up writing the story for them as being very possessive sponsors, is that ok? I really do like them for Kalaeld. :) If so, they'll just be living with him at the same URL: http://characters.lambeosaurine.com/bwr/kalaeld.html (Don't mind the growing up story being so... open ended. I have plans.)

The baby firelings look so adorable! I'll definitely try to write something up for that clutch.

To be honest? You probably don't need to reserve. I feel like I'm forcing people to adopt dragons these days, with all the squawking I need to do before anyone sends anything in.

Well, the Nexus is pretty dead in general... I remember when I'd log on after a couple hours away from my computer and I'd have several messages in several forums that were new and waiting for me to read them. Now? I can stay away all weekend and not have anything waiting for me Monday morning when I get into work... >.> Not sure if we're all just growing up and getting too many adult responsibilities or if the fervor with which we used to check the forum is just waning.

And yeah, I'm not /too/ worried, I just think with as awesome as these guys are going to be people are probably working on stories to send in at the last minute!

Phe's deadline is definitely worth striving for! :D Man, she has some sweet dragons.

I know my fervor isn't dying so much as my output isn't as high as it used to be. I can't imagine running more'n one clutch at a time, now, let alone an entire frenzy!

I know! My big problem is finding time to draw and/or write when I actually have the inspiration. You know, like this morning I got a great idea and then went "bah, oh well, guess I'll /try/ to get that written...sometime..." But turns out I have time today, for writing at least!

The sucky thing for me is that actually /running/ the clutch isn't hard...it's all the writing and drawing that goes into setting it up that's hard...

If I were a better artist (and by that I mean more motivated, more able to draw even when the muses aren't prodding me...and yeah, more talented...) I'd love to run something like the Bower so people could have some choice in their dragons and match up personalities and abilities and such... But my output just isn't high enough!
