Aaaaaand part 4 is finished. Finally, for the love of the Guardians. There will be a part 5 if I have time. Mostly at the moment I'm celebrating the end of part 4

Sorry the ending is slightly rushed, I just wanted to get it done before tomorrow.

Images are up too! Except my pretty images page doesn't work *kills nvu and misses dreamweaver and would just code it all myself if making new paragraphs wasn't so annoying ... what ... so i dont want to have to write <p> and </p> every 5 seconds, sue me XD*

Hey guys!

I was wondering -- of those of you who got Firelings from that clutch, how many of you have done things with them? :3 I was checking up on 'em the other day, changing links that needed changing and all that, and it seemed like no one had written more for them beyond another chapter or so, except for Caco who went all epic and shit. <3 Some of them never even received personalities, which makes me sad but is to be expected in any clutch, I suppose.

But in any case, I know more story doesn't always illustrate the extent of use. X3 I've been watching Dray use Lumi behind the scenes a ton, without writing epics for her, and it got me wondering: Who ELSE is using their firelings supar-secretly? X3 In other stories, or behind the scenes, or in art, whatever? I'd love to know! :D They're my babies.

Calx got wrapped up in an RP Caco and I were doing that...well...I fell off the wagon and now Caco's not interested in going back to it... So I intended great things and kinda fell short... :\

I intend her to be /very/ important to Kilandaia as a whole though...there's a Balespawn hanging out there who she'll probably butt heads with quite often...I just haven't felt like doing much writing on that storyline and since it was related to the RP Caco and I were doing I'm kinda stuck...

Erf. That was one of my "ambitious starts fails epically". :\ I tried to make a setting as wide open as possible with just enough of an overarcing motive to tie everything together... but I don't much like what I ended up with anymore. I love the characters I have but feel like I'd have to rewrite everything around them to do anything with them again. XP

Well, I don't have anything actually written for them, but Na and Virtue actually do have epic planning in the works. X3 (AKA: They're slated to run up against Taint and his lot at least twice.) And are going to show up in at least two other stories soon, too. As soon as I can find my writing muses again. ^.^;;;;

Heh, only by the coincidence of being a clutch of godlings to go out rather soon after the Balespawn first did!

The actual species with abilities that can counter/reverse Balespawn corruption is a substrain of yautjadragon I put out at the Destiny for that purpose. Keeping my own creations balanced, and all. XD

::almost feels like she should cross a Purge yautie and a fireling to get BOTH purification abilities and fire theme on one critter!::

Yeah, the fireling -- balespawn thing is a total coincidence, though I think it was you doing a godling clutch, Phe, that actually jump-started me to do this one I'd been thinking of. :3 Set the precedent, I suppose.

I have gotten the notion in my little head to run an old-school style Asandus bonding, Sancutary ceremony and roleplay and everything. I've gone through my records and discovered that I have a candidate from Xalia and a couple from Dray that never bonded waiting in the wings (a long with a good handful from DNS that were put on hold when her life got crazy, and one from a mystery person I haven't heard from since), and then there's interest from Phe and Yakima for another couple...

That is to say, would anyone else be interested in tossing a candidate my way for an asandus? It'd have to be before the end of the summer, before school returns and sucks me in all crazy-like, but I have an ichin' for a bit of nostalgia and the idea of infusing some new asandus blood into the Nexus is always appealing. I have enough for a little bonding ceremony as is, but I'm open to getting more people in on it if anyone's interested.

..and there might even be a crossbreed to contend for...shhhh....

Nothing more than write up a candidate, good miss! The Sanctuary info may help, I imagine, though it will be until I can find a new server to host my junks before Sanctuary will be back online in its usual form. That'll be a couple of days at least, as I'm currently shiftlessly transporting back and forth between two cities (actually I'm on a bus between cities right now; how cool is that?!), but I'll see about posting the relevant information in, say, the first post of this thread soonish.

So much enthusiasm! Alright, guys, this is exciting!

Deadlines for candidates are up in the air for the moment, but I'm going to say that a tentative deadline will be the 18th of August. Not a lot of time, I know, and if everyone's panicking around then I'll probably bump it back, but I'm going on holiday for the last two-ish weeks of August for my brother's wedding and I don't know if there's internet where I'll be headed. How's this sounding to everyone, in a general sense?
