Image Thumbnails in directories?

I know it's been asked before, but I went hunting around and couldn't find the thread (I keep finding the Search function is borked, too, which doesn't help! X3)

It's getting to the point where I have so many dragons that if I don't have a quick visual reference, I forget what I have! 9_9 The other day I was looking through my collection and kept going, "oh YEAH!" or worse, "what?! When did I get this?!" Anyways, would it be okay if I were to take 50x50 or 100x100 thumbs of dragons heads to put next to their names so that I can have a quick idea of who is what lying around? I don't mean to alter an image, and the thumb will link to the page with the dragon on it, obviously! I just think that it will help in the long run -- keep me able to quickly browse my lists without having to click every single link to remember who-is-what!

If you don't want this done, please let me know. I can put in a quick doodle of my own or something for the thumb, instead. X3

There was a thread about this but I can't recall what it was called. If you can't find it, "I give you my approval to make thumbs of any Healing Den/Kshau/Giveaway dragons I've made for you".

I don't remember where that thread was now either but I don't think I ever replied to it anyways.

You're welcome to make thumbnails for any of the dragons I've drawn so long as you don't warp the image in any way. (Not saying you would, I just hate it when people shrink images and they get all pixelly so you can't even tell what the dragon really looks like...

)

Might end up doing something simular for the Isle of Rys and Treval Dragonry or something. LOL

Pern dragons all look the same so...

It's something that can probably be stuck in the Database section, too. XD

I'm down with that -- I've honestly been considering about the same, ever since DF brought it up so long ago for that database-thingie... that's the thread I'm pretty sure you're thinking about.

(And yes, the search function is a bit twitchy anymore, probably from that table corruption back whenever-that-was that i helped Phe fix. It looks like some table entries got deleted somewhere along the way.)

You know, we've been using this board since 2005.

Remember when we were iffy about switching to a message board from our Y!Groups?

Heck, how old are some of those groups now?

At the moment, writing a slideshow of Quantum Cryptography seems less "Gaaaahhh" than thinking about this.

It's not uploaded, 'cause Alair is collecting dust, too. *cries* But all my 'pack' pages have little headshots of the wolves.

Makes finding the pretty ones easier.
