Thanks, you guys! I updated a list!

I was wondering... would you guys like me to slow down the amount of time between applications and due dates? I usually have templates ready to go to replace current clutches within the two weeks that I normally have... but at the same time, I know that two weeks isn't really enough time to go through the process of making a character you like, writing a story for them, sending them in -- and then deciding where you want the resulting dragon and having time to put effort into writing them into other story-ness.

If the current amount of time is fine, then woot, but if you want more, feel free to pipe up now! I'm all ears for suggestions (for length of time, or anything else that you think would make it easier or more exciting for sending in applications and paging dragons.)

:3 18B Is the BWR's 30th clutch! I feel... accomplished. Or something. XD

Maybe at the 50th clutch I'll have a party or give out mini-prizes. (Really, I think I just have too much fun messing around with generators. Durr!)

(Holy crap, Aireona! XD Awesome story-bits! :D I love seeing suggestion-sheet style characters that just take off. Very very cool!)

On another note, if anybody is interested in flying water-wyrms, at this point in time you'll get.. 99% of them. XD I haven't gotten an application sheet yet (which is no biggy; I know water-style dragons AND wyrms aren't too popular, so combined they well could be the Nexus' least popular type. X3) but I'll still 'hatch' the clutch on Saturday. After that will hopefully be a more interesting generation -- they're still water-based, but they look a little less odd.

(I'm doing a bunch of black clutches in order to catch 'em up in the timeline to my reds and whites! I've got up to Generation 20B in the works, then I can finally start running red AND black clutches alternatingly again. X3 Breeding so many Asandae into the whites means that I'm going to have to hold off on them for a while. 9.9' Oh well.)

O_o How strange! I remember looking at him for either the red or the black clutch just recently, but you're right, he's nowhere to be found.. hmm, I may have accidentally deleted him while moving another dragon to the 'already used' section!

I was actually wondering -- could you toss me a link to the breed information? X3 I remember that there were many different kinds and wasn't sure how Akado factored in anymore! (Or better yet, if you could link it off of his stats page, then I'll be able to hop to it when his time comes up!) Is he black with a patina of red, or really dark red? (Also, how long does it take for his species to reach adulthood? X3 That's something that's factoring into who I pick, lately!)

As for growth, I hadn't gotten to that part in the information page yet. ^.^; They're fairly fast-growing, though, for the most part. The Primary types tend to reach adulthood within a couple of years, the Secondary types take a bit longer (maybe three and a half) and the Tertiary type takes even longer (say five years).

And yes, he's black with a red sheen, and black (sheenless XD) eyemarkings. <3

Oh jeez, thanks! XD I hadn't thought to make the leap, there.

Any thoughts on half-breeds? Would they stay his cool and rare-type vampire-offspring, or would they default back to the common types?

Hehe, Abianderni are cool. X3 If it's a purebred (Abiandern x Abiandern) then his Vampire-ness would probably not carry over into his offspring, unless one of them happened to be Tertiary. However! Hybrids (Abiandern x Dragon B) are an entirely different matter. So yes, any hybrid dragon he sires would totally get that vampire type. Or, well, something similar to it, anyway. :3 (IE: one might get his exact blood-absorbing ability, while another might get something like life-energy absorption, and another might end up absorbing sunlight, or something.) Most of them would have near-exact replicas of his abilities, if they end up with them, though. I could totally write you up a Thing if you wanted. XD;;; *had all kinds of ratios for offspring figured out at one point*

I'll poke you about that sometime in the middling future -- I have a pretty sweet game plan for the black gens, after Aireona sent me in a Graveyard-exchange that matches Akado's style fairly closely (if only as a completely different species! >:D) For the next few gens, however, I'm just concentrating on bringing them up to speed with the white and red clutches! :3

The lightbox? I googled up lightbox templates, found and downloaded one, then fiddled with the html and javascript until I had the colours and images that I wanted. :3 Pretty simple, though it's a little finicky in that you have to wait for the page to load before the lighbox option will actually work... and, you know, clicking out of it can be a mystery if you've never encountered the feature before. (XD I got confused when it was stuck up on my page for a while!)

lol. Cool. I'll have to look into that. Heh. And yeah, I once hated those things. I've seen them before, on a Pern site that has a bunch of maps and stuff when I was trying to put my Threadfall Chart map together...still need to work on that.

Even if I have no frigin' clue on how to read it...exactly. But yeah, it looks really spiffy. XD

Today's the last day to get your dragons paged! As far as I know, that's only Shard! (You owe me Rana, Atetu, Ohda and Torup!) Please have 'em up by the end of today, or let me know if you're unable to -- I can give you a two-day extension, I just need to hear from you to know what's up!

Applications for the 18(b) Clutch are due by the end of tomorrow! Cy's the only one who's sent anything in. XD I think that Bronx is going to very quickly catch up to his woman, at this rate!

The next clutch in the pits of the Bower is going to be much more eye-friendly, I promise. X3

XD Sometimes, if you're lucky, you can take a sneak-peek at the clutch-in-waiting, by changing around the numbers for the pickup pages. Not -all- the time... but sometimes. ;) Just in case you need an edge up!

I have a question about the Graveyard. I have a necromancer character who would like to learn about the spells used to raise the dragons. Would it be possible for her to learn from the Bower's necromancers how to raise one of the dragons herself?

Arg - yes, I know I haven't gotten mine up. I've been astoundingly out of it, paging older things because I got them first. I'll have them up very shortly, though no guesses as to whether they'll have a story

*edit* Okay, I've got their pages up! Anima and Magg's page is now 6, there's a link at the end of 5. Otherwise they're on the same as their application pages.
