Well, I know I said I'd get the third done by Sunday, but while the entire thing is outlined, the wings are still giving me trouble. I'd like it to have the small wings, too, but I can't seem to get a position I really like that fits with the whole stretching theme.
I think I've got a concept, but it's going to take a bit to get it on the image right, since I'm doing this all by mouse now instead of just outlining a sketch. Bleh.
Now that I'm on break and feeling so much better about myself, this set of clutches is the next thing on my list of things to get done.
FINAL CALL FOR CANDIDATES!
You have until next Sunday, as tomorrow starts my WONDERFUL adventures in Christmas "tag your it!" -- Tomorrow I get to (maybe, if the weather up north is good) drive 5 hours north to my parent's house, get to rest a day (Monday or Tuesday will probably be my parents dragging me out shopping going, "what should I get your father/mother/fiance/you"), then on Wednesday drive 2 hours north to my fiance's parent's house, where we get to play Christmas eve gift exchange family get together games, then Thursday back to my parents for Christmas day traditions and more gifts, rest on Friday, then drive another five hours back to Carbondale on either Saturday or Sunday, because my fiance has work and meetings with a teacher the week after.
Oh, I really should send Nauji to sponsor one of her babies, and these are some gorgeous teasers... it's been so long since I wrote and complied a webpage though. We'll see what happens by next week. =\
It was going to be the 28th, but I think I'm going to rephrase that right now. After all, I don't expect to be doing much of anything next week, so I might as well let people have another week to maybe do things themselves.
So, this will officially, for good, nevertobeopenedagain closed on the 4th of January! Get your candidates and sponsors in by then!
I think the combination of head-desking over a lack of ideas and killing time by ruffling through some ancient hard drive data has caused my last creative thought processes for the moment to abandon ship.
There's not terribly much to work with, hatching story snippet-wise, but would Nauji be able to sponsor a son or daughter with the page she has now? I can't get over how amazingly beautiful that teaser image is.
Oh man, I can't wait. *bounces* Somehow I managed to tear myself away from staring at the Seasons adults to say so. I can imagine that these dragons will be just as stunning. =)
Also... I'm a bit jealous you have an active corp. I've been considering pulling payment on my main and letting my account expire since I never play anymore, but reading your blog made me want to pick EVE back up.
I remember having some good times... a group of good people, some awesome ransoms, some pulse-stopping tackles in the old Ares, a bunch of loud cursing over the Vent server that is best left unrecalled... *trails off, looking wistful*
Just a warning to you, Keilin -- my CEO is cheshire-cat-grinning about you. She's hellbent on recruiting you now *giggles* Another female for the insanity! =P
Had a good roam tonight -- I didn't get killed, though a Hurricane tried to kill my poor lil Vexor. The gang ganked the Cane and a Deimos, only losing a Rifter in the process (Mynxee played bait for us). After some sleep I'm going to write another blog entry.
ANYWAY! Since I doubt anyone else here is interested in spaceship battles =P
When I'm not cackle-fitting about the sketches I've done for the Winter Gather, I'm estimating tomorrow for finishing the coloring of these babies, and then tomorrow evening plus a bit of Wednesday for the hatching itself. Just a heads-up there.
Aww, don't cry Keilin *pats tears dry* Starry has aaaaaalll the pretties finished and ready to go, she's just been distracted by hissing at annoying english teachers and squeeing about Cryptography.
I'll finish the hatching tonight and send them out either tonight or early tomorrow, okay? ^.^
