Template Redraws!
Check second post for up to date info!!!
Here's where I'm at:

Starfyre, you said you'd like to draw a new Incohat (spirit) template. If you're still up for it, I was hoping that you could finish sooner than later; I'm at 4 in that series right now and if I hit six before you turn anything in, I'll just do the next series by myself (unless someone else is really fast and can get a template in a short time!) Let me know where you stand!

Unyko, you've still got plenty of time with the Fleurdefree (air) template. I'm still at three and these guys don't seem extremely popular, so they should be safe for a while. Just give me a heads-up to where you're at?

Reenee, since I broke into six Astilbody (flora) images recently I had to draw the template myself, so if you have something on the draw, I'm definitely still happy to take it, but it's going to be a while before it sees any use! If you're still interested in drawing but hadn't started the Astilbody yet, please feel free to pick from the list below if you want to do something else.

If anybody else is still interested in doodling Tier 1 critters and would like to take on another, here's my list of what has how many critter-spots left to fill before I need to switch templates, in order from most urgent to least urgent.

Fleurdefree (Air) - Two free spaces left before new template needed (Tentatively taken by Unyko)
Flarefy (Fire) - Three free spaces left (Tentatively taken by Aireona)
Foxxic (Fauna) - Three free spaces left (Tentatively taken by Mud)
Bufobufo (Rock) - Three free spaces left
Eloinktric (Electric) - Four free spaces left
Astilbody (Flora) - Four free spaces left (tentatively taken by Reenee)
Incohat (Spirit) - Six free spaces left
Farwin (Water) - Seven free spaces left. XD
Ingotuatara (Metal) - Eight free spaces left

**What I need: a .psd shaded image with a flat-color layer that can be changed from critter to critter.

These are the prizes that I've been offering in reward for Tier 1 arts:

Three Custom Elemental Tics - Can be added to any creature you own, in any element.
Two Custom Moral Tics - Can be added to any creature you own, in either Good or Wicked.
Single-Use Crystal Ball - Learn exactly how many tics one of your creatures has and in what elements.

I use the template that you draw for five creatures before retiring it, and will credit you for their use in the appropriate image database. If you want me to also link your name to an art gallery or adoption center, just let me know.

Taeresi is sooo close! XD It's ready to pop in two elements and has points tucked away in just about all of the others. Soooon. (I hope!)

And Cy... show up! XD Your egg's waiting for you but it won't wait much longer! (You'll be on the list for next Friday, of course. Just thought you'd like an egg sooner than later!)

Hmm, I think I'd enjoy doodling a critter for you. All you need is the lineart, right? And those guys are so simple in that regard. Heck, I could probably even do a couple, if you wanted. Aside from the baseball game I have to attend in a few hours (ugh, siblings), my weekend is free. XD

So, yeah, you want to assign me a critter or two to handle for you?

Actually, if my mom ever gets off the compy downstairs, I'll have the template done tonight 0.o;;

But I can't kick her off because she's doing classwork for her summer college classes. Thus, no scanner for Starry yet.

But I have the sketch done, and because it's small, it shouldn't take me more than an hour or two. Once I get it scanned in, that is.

I'd be interested in doing another one. And much like Phee, I've got spare time this weekend during the days particularly, so if it'd be congenial, I would be willing to even do more than one (though I figure it's more along the lines of finish one, then see what's up). =)

I've got the template sketched, just need to ink and scan (have many other things to scan at the same time, so it should be soon), and then there's just the shading. ^.^ Quickquick. I only hope my method of shading/highlights doesn't mess with your coloring. *sheepish*

So long as there's a layer with the flat colour separate from the shading that I can flood-fill for different critters, it should be fine!

I updated the template post above to include what I'm looking for, but to reiterate, I need a .psd file (around between 250 and 300 pixels at the max dimension) with a layer of flat colour that's separate from the shading and line art that I can easily manipulate to change the colour of the critter. I usually have one layer above the flat colour set to Overlay, using black and white to shade. Then a second layer also set to Overlay to add details without completely changing the critters colour.

Just pick one that you'd like to do, give me a shout, and I'll add your name to the reserved list until it's finished. ^^;

I appreciate your interest and enthusiasm! :D Totally makes this easier (and yay for cycling through images; I feel like I'm playing with really rudimentary Magic cards. XD)

Aaaaahah! Well simple Overlay shading I can do, too! Still a step down from what I do on a template of my own. XD

So I'd be happy to be put down for...mmm...Ingotuatara? Shading-wise I do metal better than fluff. X3

Noted and noted!

And it looks like either my internet is screwing up or else artdragon is taking another break again; Cy's 24 hours are up BUT I'm not going to release that egg until artdragon is up; there's no sense in giving it away when I can't also give the baby-stage up!

(So for the moment, provisionally, the egg's still up for Cy, until I post a message when artdragon is up again that states otherwise.)

Noted! :3

Artdragon seems to be up again, and Cy sounded like she's busy right now with real life things, so I'm going to pass this egg on and put her back on the list for next Friday. >.>" Hopefully that'll be enough time to get some things in order for her!

Tier 0 - Zydras
You settle in with your Didra Gon to watch a movie. Your Didra Gon wants to watch:
An Action movie. Zy thinks that the more action movies he watches, the easier it will be for him to become one of those heroes, or at least an actor. His favorite so far is Serenity, I think we've watched it about 5 times just this week alone. He's even got most of the lines memorized!

Your didra gon's study binder is full of doodles! What are they of?

Ghosts

At least, I think they’re ghosts… with Reise’s scribbling, it’s hard to tell. Whatever they are, they’re scaring-looking buggers with horns and bloodstains. I’m not sure where he comes up with these things, actually. It’s scary. I should have never let him watch The Sixth Sense with his friend... These ghost-things are creepy.

Tier 0 (Baby)
You settle in with your Didra Gon to watch a movie. Your Didra Gon wants to watch:

After debating between horror, comedy and action he finally settled. Puff really enjoyed theAction. I'm just hoping all the stunts don't go to his head and he get's it to try them.

Since JKat brought it up to me the other day, I thought I'd clarify a note about answering questions to try for personalities vs. trying for specific elements.

While I love reading what you guys post for each question, I just want to point out that it's not a requirement to stay in character the entire time. If, for example, you really really want a specific element but it doesn't seem like the one you want is likely to fit in with your Didra's personality, feel free to skip narrating and just pick the answer for that week, and then resume answering via personality whenever you want.

I've designed the questions so that elements fall over a number of personalities (for example, some qualities of Air that I use when deciding answers are: wise, well-traveled, flaky, gossip, speedy, quick-acting, open-minded, etc.) so that's why it's taking some of you guys quite a while to evolve when you answer based on personality alone. I'm using positive and negative traits for answers from week to week!

But it's fun to stay in personality =P And I really don't care much what I get on any of them, I'm more just curious to see what they become on their own. ^^
