Site down?

I just got a e-mail from lunar pages about a fan going down on one of their servers and I might have been affected. If the site went down I didn't notice because I was at work...

...But just wanting to let everyone know...

...if the site went down...

...This time it was NOT my fault...

...It was Phes.

Hey, that's looking good! I think.... it's missing something in the grey section.

Check Black Shuck... it's got a similar layout, but that crack-y leather makes it kinda pop. Maybe do something similar with the grey/black sides of your site?

:\ I'm such a texture-ho now. I keep wanting to say "ADD SOME TEXTURE OVERLAYS TO EVERYTHING BECAUSE IT MAKES IT POP." and I know I'm going to over-fancification hell for it.

Even something as simple as adding a bit of shadow and light (more distinct than just a gradient-looking effect) would make that gray section look more complete. Right now, that area is very flat whereas the rest of the design is more vivid.

Oh I'm not affecting the forum, that layout is for my site, you all own the /nexus. I am not in anyway touching the nexus... I dont even like touching it on the FTP.

You are the 2nd person to say that... and I am changing it, adding some strange textures in hopes it looks good.

Ah, kay, because the comment on the front of your site said something that hinted it.
