The link to the story on Snaedis's page just leads to her stats page. If you actually uploaded the story and know what the URL -should- be, you could just post it! That is, if i'm understanding the situation right.

The full problem is that I can't get it to upload anything -- connection times out. Which is why the link on Snaedis' page still leads back to nothing, and why I can't give a link -_-;; I thought it said it had uploaded, but scrolling through the list of files on the server, it's not there at all.

'Dis was having a hard time in hunting... but eventually, Penopir made her debut. The snow about the mature xenodragon suddenly crackled and flared as the burstling injected a field of electricity -- nothing lethal, but it certainly was a, er, shock!

Dray: La hee ^^ Love the pretty. I'll get her up once I get my silver laptop functional again (aka: as soon as the stupid tests stop running!)

Mud: My main issue is that I'm working off of my secondary computer, my tablet, because my primary computer is in the middle of a several hour long battery of tests to determine if there's anything physically wrong with the hardware. (It keeps randomly bluescreening on me) My tablet is a Vista machine, and it has... issues... with internet connections and protocols half the time, and works perfectly fine the other half. Sometimes it will lock me out of sites for no reason, other times it will let me into everything just fine. Heck, it locks me out of the Nexus sometimes too. I dearly love this machine, because it's a beautiful piece of work for arting, and it will always let me upload to Photobucket (for some reason!), but will randomly lock me out of other websites or drop connection (I think the wireless card on this machine isn't very good, actually... I have jack-all for range at times.)

I love them! In fact, I am gleeeeeeful!

These are my first dragons, and I couldn't have asked for a better start! Also, they are awesome and I love them way more than is probably healthy.
I'm going to try my best to do them justice in my story, which I do plan on starting as soon as I can tear my eyes away from these two fantabulous burstlings!

Also, Uny says she likes the blood-colored male, and is probably going to borrow him for a breeding or two when he's grown XD

:D I remember my first dragons! Kiye, Jasperth and Emeraldth were all tied. X333 They're some of my favorite even if they are really ooooold.

Shudder in fear! Kazralica and Kimoth were my first bonder and dragon.

Somehow, I got a female bronze out of that story... original VellaCrean and everything.

Reminiscing aside! Figured out what issue this laptop was having (stupid hidden Vista settings). I'll have everything updated in a couple hours. ^.^

Naeodin used one of my Swim dragons (the 2nd generation one from the .... first halloween? I dunno, one of the Frenzies) with my permission for those

I like em, I got my precious male gold for Ten there. They are very proto-dragonflyish, though technically they were meant as swimmers from my original art.

My big "wtf" is... how did Kaz's story get a female Bronze? I was estatic at the time, but looking back... yeah. I really like the art, and at the same time think that the pretty female bronze should breed, but... the character.. horrifies me (well, the writing more like. What really horrifies me is that I'm going to have to take all that and move it to silveredmagic at some point, before geocities dies on me. The fact that it hasn't yet, despite me not having touched it in years kinda surprises me).

As long as you've changed the basic index.html page at some point, they tend to leave them alone. There was a long while though, when they were actively removing sites that had never changed their index.html page - even if they had an index.htm instead, and were clearly in use by the amount of bandwidth and space used. That's likely how the winter gather site died, and I know it's how my original genrehopper site died, although I think someone hacked and messed with my password - and by that time I couldn't get it back because they'd changed the security issues to get a new one. Ah well.

Some day I'm probably going to move *everything* I have, to my droppin the fork .com, but that'll require .... a loooot of work. (65 individual geocities sites... oh yah. that'll be a blast.)

I'll get Penopir's adult stage up sometime up to tomorrow -- not on the desktop now so I don't have the images!

Managed to finish the next white-clutch babies. X3 I don't know how I want to run the next two clutches... should I make a traditional pickup page with a limited number of hatchlings that everybody can vie for, or should I run them like the xeno-clutch? Or maybe something else?

Going to wait to put out more until I get this settled... but have a preview:

I think you should go back to the pickup page style. The xenos were a bit...chaotic? Pickup pages with deadlines are easier for folks to get at, methinks. XD

I personally like being able to see the previews for the babies and being able to pick the ones we like most (when it comes to personality especially) but it may also be fun to have to pick out what you think would be most fun to pair with our candidates. I plan on writing a story for the next clutch, so either way, as long as it doesn't disappear overnight!

Yeah... I've got a bunch of deadlines coming up this week, which will limit what I can do on the Nexus. Something about two papers, coding a virtual compiler from scratch, and a test all happening on Wednesday...
