Golden B-Day

Post by Yakima »

So, yesterday was my golden birthday...which means I'm 23...*blinks* I sure don't feel older. heh. Anyway, if you want to give me something, I'm only going to ask that it be gold or have gold on it because it's my golden b-day...:P If you don't want to give me anything 'cause I'm behind on pageing Treval Dragonry characters, that's fine. I'm still trying to sort out a bunch of stuff for Treval's re-opening which includes what I should do with all my dragons and dragon-like critters. :P

Happy birthday!

This is a Zekiran Show steed, she can certainly fly (and does) but her expertise is on the ground and looking good. As a Show creature, she's been very well trained to obey complicated commands and can largely tell what she's meant to be doing by the way the audience (or the judges specifically) respond to her.

She is exceptional in coloration. While very few Steeds wind up with but one color on their body, hers is almost a glassy smooth shade of golden-cream. Each subsequent shade on her wings and tail catches the light (best in sunlight) and dazzles with its brilliance.

Crystalline Treasure was bred by Beast Mistress Rachael for you. She's female, 4 years old, stands approximately 22 hands high (she's fairly tall even for a Zekiran steed, as they run big by Human standards). She is not telepathic nor sentient, but she is smart for a steed, and can handle up to four instructions before stalling out in the ring. It's obvious that she will never be resold, but this Steed is of huge value for her coloration and temperment.

Oh, she's gourgous, Shard! Maybe extreamly huge (my horse is only 14 hands high! :P Are you sure she's that tall 'cause a human would like an ant. :P Heehee...anyway, once I find a home for her she'll be paged!

And thanks, Kit! Love wolfies from other people other then myself. :P

Well, Zekiran people aren't humans - they stand at least a full foot taller than any normal earth human. Their steeds are quite tall anyway (usually of the Shire build and leg length, but sometimes longer thinner legs, and longer bodies, but definitely of the height they can achieve), but this one IS big. :) And she probably knows it :D

Ah, I see...hmmm...well, I'll have to find someone big enought to ride her, I guess. :P Wasn't that green one from a few years back of the same race or world? *blinks*

This guy, right here :P

*re-reads info* They're a bit like the aryor, now that I look at it. The aryor (I forgot there full species name), are unicorns that are very intelligent (as intelligent as an adult human) and are empathetic though they can't speak or use telepathy. They pick up on thoughts and emotions very, very well - more so then a regular horse. :P I still want to draw and give some out in the Nexus but I'm still debating. :P

Okay, I know I'm late on replying, but Thanks, Dray & Feline. :P

Dray, in the info does the Bond: no mean they don't have to have one or they can't have one?

Since the parents are Kinystaer Selamputo and Epsi Rona'de, the potential to bond is there, it's just buried really far back in their genes. (3/8ths bonding-types on the mom's side, and about 1/16th bonding-types on the father's side. O.o' So it's not likely that they can naturally bond.)

Feel free to cook up a synthetic method of bonding, though! :D
