Looks like the xenos are coming out before the others!

Here's the deal. Read everything on the pickup page and then fill out the form there (or the one below. It is the same.)

User Name: (Your name or online nickname.)
Email: (The email I can reach you at.)
Caretaker/Bond Name: (Name of your character)
Caretaker/Bond URL: (Link to your character. A stats page is fine, so long as I can find the story that it goes with!)
Hunting Preferences: (List the kinds of things that your hunter is more likely to pick out while on the prowl -- this includes colours, genders, shapes, personalities... anything you can think of.)

This time around, you don't get to pick individual xenos! Instead, suggest preferences and you might get something that you like. Want to start a hive? Or add to one? Want the vicious 2-headed Warrior who is the baddest of the asses? Writing is your friend for this clutch! (Stats pages won't be denied, but you will not get as much with 'em.)

Ranks: (Lowst to Highest)
1-Headed Sport (Sports are the shunned members of xenodragon society... with white skin, these guys are easier to pick out than lightbulbs. They're dumped on by higher rankers and anybody who realizes that Sports are at the bottom of the ladder)
2-Headed Sport
1-Headed Drone
2-Headed Drone
1-Headed Warrior
2-Headed Warrior

New pickups will come out here (possibly with story) AND on the pickup page! You'll get the adult stage of your xenodragon as soon as the hatchling is paged -- and then the adult must be paged within 2 weeks of it going out. Once your adults are paged, you are allowed to come back for more -- providing there are any left!

Feel free to post questions. :3 The adults from this clutch are gorgeous -- well worth the time and effort.

oh man, is it bad that the first thing that comes to mind is the safari zone from pokemon?
This looks really cool! Hmmm.. what are the general personalities of these guys? I'm guessing from the parents they'll all bound to be pretty nasty.
Gotta get my thinking cap on. I have a hard time writing evil characters.

lol actually the first thing I thought of was a pair of characters off hunting, and one of them finally gets attacked by a drone or whatnot, and screams something about "you said we'd be pokemon hunting!" (and there is a pokemon hunting and training class at Carramba lol I may yet do that)

Neptuss didn't have to look too far when he stumbled upon Ubaden and Butulos... the little sports contrasted starkly with the dark of the boulders they were trying to hide behind.

Though the two-headed, blueish coloured burstling hissed and cowered from her semi-cousin, her black brother seemed to quickly take Neptuss as an ally -- in fact, Ubaden bonded the quarter-xenodragon right on the spot!

~Take us with you!~ the black and white snakeling urged, ~we were almost killed by the last hunter who came along!~

It really only took a day or two before Neptuss found that his little charges were now less than little...

Though Ubaden and Butulos managed to hide themselves away in the bowels of their bond (and charge)'s ship for the majority of the transformation, when they emerged, they were just about everything that Neptuss had heard about xenodragons. They even had the ceiling climbing down pat!

Veness' very presence seems to still the motions around the crater... it's rare to see a xenoqueen, pure or impure.

Just out of curiosity, and for story-plotting purposes, how long is this 'event' likely to last IC? And they grew up that fast because Neptuss found them, right? The ones still yet to be found won't be growing up at the same rate? *needs to make sure before continuing with story/letting Neptuss return* ^.^;;

I think they'll all grow up around the same time... it wouldn't make sense for some to grow faster than others. O.o' I think I'll only allow people to 'come back' once or twice; the reason people are allowed to come back is to reward people who get their dragons up quickly, but to limit people to one or two at a time in case other people want to snag their own.

To be honest, I didn't really think through how it would work, in character!

How about you do whatever works best for you. :) I won't object if you want to say that they came back after a while and the burstling's siblings were still wee while they're grown... or you can say that Butulos and Ubaden are still burstlings themselves for story purposes. I only need to see the adult stages up to meet the deadlines; they don't -have- to be grown up IC!

So, can we only submit one character at a time for this? >.> I've got a story going that is turning into a xeno hunting expedition... XD I don't know why, I'm not particularly fond of xenos, but a trio of my dragons popped into my head and convinced me they needed to go xeno hunting... XD They're not exactly evil-minded either, but they're definitely devious and strong-minded enough to handle an ill-tempered xeno or two!

And man I wish I could update from work, they'll probably be all gone before I can get my story up on a page!

Individual characters may come back once or twice... we'll see how this works out. I can always make more xenos if the first batch runs out, I suppose. >:D All the more fun for me to add into the next generator.

Hindar had been on the planet for nearly a day before he actually caught sight of a real, live burstling. There had been hints and even one or two shed skins to leave a trail, but it wasn't until Aduzein leapt from his hiding place in one shallow cave that Hindar got his first look. Good thing for the wolv that this fella was here to bond, and not to feed!

Rorac didn't have long to go before he'd found his quarry. Two burstlings, one with a white glow and a single head, the second with a faint glow and two heads, had grouped together in their own quest for quarry... even at such a young age, they were already beginning to work together, like a disconnected hive.

Neither Ohejoin nor Ytelun noticed their hunter at first, but once they'd worried the bones of the little rodent they'd trapped and killed, his presence became apparent. Little questing minds didn't quite bond the hunter, but Rorac was suddenly left without a doubt that their scrutiny had left them without fear. They would submit... if he would have them. Rorac would know just as soon as he realized that the burstlings had scanned them and attached themselves to him that they would be fierce companions and excellent hound-dogs...

Though Shieksahh intended to find herself another minion, it seems that her bond, Taint, has stumbled across companionship first! Even in childhood, Deridut seems to possess a canny understanding of the way things work -- how else could she bond Taint almost entirely by surprise?
