I DUN BEEN SQUEELED. XD :D

Houka, they don't have any particular abilities, but they can be trained to do things, like carry stuff, guard stuff, play nice with stuff (babies XD)... They're more like helpers/pets than anything. The different breeds might have slightly different tempraments, but that's about it.

Feline, sure you can call it male or female if you'd like. :3 There's just no real physical difference. As for naming, its whoever's taking care of them gets to choose! XD

BTW these guys are soooo cute! It's almost a shame they're just pet types with the amount of hard work you put in it @_@ 128 layers... Good thing you're planning something big with them!

How would we be acquiring these bonds? Do we have to go to their place of birth, would they randomly be found on the planet where our personas are, etc?

Yes please, and do you mind if we have to take liberties to get the pet where it goes?

I've got someone who's going to have it, but they will not be able to 'take' it. They're only a baby when it is given to them, can they have the egg hatch, or is this something they will have to get as a 'pup' out of its egg?

TheFeline, they're not bonds, I repeat, they're pet-creatures, between cat and dog size, intelligence similar to a dolphin's.

They would be found randomly on the planet where your persona is -- think a stray cat wandering up to your door and meowing for food, and then not leaving. :3

Shard, do what you need to do to get it where you want it to go! :D

I apologize, I'm aware they're not bonds, I mis-typed, it's been a crazy morning at work and I don't have net set up at the apartment yet!

Thank you for the info though, this will greatly help! I'm actually just finished reading First Fall. I need to look and see if you wrote it down already... but do the creatures speak mind to mind, or are they only empathic?

Shard.... hmm, I'm not sure how to handle that! Maybe the egg showed up on their doorstep with a note that says 'neuter at birth' or something? XD I'm not sure. They will need to be neutered, as otherwise they'll grow somewhat differently than in the image, but how that's done can be a little flexible.

No, it's okay, I just want to make sure I'm making myself 100% clear. :3 They're not empathic, or telepathic, or supernatural in any notable way; they're just rather intelligent companion animals. :)

Ooh I have it!! This egg will have been taken through numerous Nexus points, between and the like. I'll just state that it became altered in the process, that'll actually fit the story very well. Besides, Shy is involved. he's not the one with the egg, fortunately lol.

It's rather hard to randomly appear in Lanse'shri, due to its borders (and it's not a planet), any way Dark and Myr could have picked it up elsewhere, random planet/world? They do wander...
