Well, accually, the Day-0 dragons don't share the abilities of the regular day dragons, so Taneli Ichijo would't be able to sizeshift...

oh, sorry, I'll edit that. I didn't notice the size shifting was actually an ability and not just trait of the specie.
So the Velika wouldn't be gender shifting either? Just male.
