So most of you probably have gleaned that Frizzle (who infrequently visits the Nexus) is my sister. What you probably don't know, is that that she's got knee problems...

Anyway, she's having surgery on both knees bright-and-early tomorrow morning, to clean up the damaged cartilage and do something with the tendons... I can never remember exactly what it is, but I'm not going to put her brain back on the omg-I'm-having-surgery track right now by asking.

So I'll probably be around here the same amount as I usually am (haha) but I wanted to let you all know what was going on.

Well, at least there's surgeries to fix stuff, right?

Give her luvin from the geezer.

She can even sit on my lawn if she likes.

Ohhhh, give her my sympathy....I just had that done in August. Arthroscopic surgery on both with the added joys of a ligament release in my right knee....not exactly my idea of fun. At the same time, though, if that's what it takes to clean things up, that's what it takes.

And ice? Ice will be her best friend for the first few days....or weeks....

She had ligaments released on both knees, and she's currently half-drugged-asleep on the sofa (while the rest of us watch Full Metal Alchemist).

It went well, and I will pass on your sympathies when she's more conscious.
