blogs?

Hi, just wandering since I don't have much experice setting up webpages do you guys accept blogs?
Just wandering if not thats okay.
Just give some advice about how to set up a page and I'll give it a go.

Mostly not.

Generally speaking the safe way for us to offer artwork around the net is on a specific web page devoted to that art.

Geocities and other such free sites offer very quick, easy to use site creation tools, you generally don't have to know any html.

I personally do not accept any blog or other well-trod place because of art theft and lack of links on most blog pages. They're also very busy, and too long as far as load times go to look at any given piece. Most of us like to see one image or character represented on one page, and links to others on the site when you've got more than one. One huge, busy page is way too crowded for my tastes.

Aside from that, welcome to the Nexus! There's plenty of information around, about where to adopt and how to proceed!

I don't like blogs as a dragon-hosting option, either. You can always use Photobucket.com for picture storage and geocities.com for web-hosting, if you're just starting out... like Shard said, blogs are high-traffic and hard on people who have slow page-loading times.

same here on the blog thing. if you need help with coding i can help there are alot of free web hosts out there. the only one i really know is free webs but it can be a pain.
