So, uh. I've emailed Keilin, and searched for her around here -- Iiii can't seem to get ahold of her?

And it's three days till the deadline, here... and this is not a clutch I'm willing to extend the benefit of the doubt for and have a fireling without a home.

So. I guess I'm saying, Keilin Alyr, if you're still around, contact me ASAP like by tomorrow night or you're losing your spot in the Fireling clutch. Secondarily -- is anyone up for the challenge of writing me a serious candidate story in three days? Astra? Anyone?

I think my char is done, if you've been checking her. I was debating going a touch further, but I think I should stop there XD

Hm..... I didn't think I would have a chance since the slots did fill up rather quickly, but I bet you I could find one of my characters and suitably inspire them. I haven't read any of the other stories yet. I ought to do that first

If I do get one in that's fine, if I can't finish in time or someone else comes in, I'll send her to another here later. I'm pretty sure I know what I want to do

Just for the record, I's still a workin on mine. It got long on me and I'm trying to make sure it's an INTERESTING long that portrays my Frosty decently. XD Gonna be working on it all my ten hours at work Monday, I'm sure.

Houka Ryuu, just so you know, this is going to be the only specifically Fireling clutch that I do. :3 Is it alright, if you don't bond in this one, if I bump you to the next clutch that I have anyways?

Cool beans. If all of us are allowed to send one then, I'd still like to try for it if I can finish on time. I was uber stoked about this clutch before finals came to devour my soul and I no longer had time.

nevermind about the previous question, I figured it out myself

Hope that I get into this, I think my story's going to turn out awesome if I can get it done on time. I just want to make absolutely 100% sure that I'm allowed to submit the candidate before I get too excited. I don't want to take Shadow or Shard or Houka's spot if they technically got to it first, but if we're all competing for the last spot, then I definitely want to play *rubs hands together*

OMG DONE.

Sent the form just a second ago. I am so late for work though ... But I'm DONE!

Writing this reminded me a lot of nanowrimo ... except that it was more like, you know, nanowriday

Anyway, I like how it turned out, I wanted to make the ending a little longer, but I was in a hurry. Hope it turned out all right and I'll be totally looking forward to the hatching!

Thanks so much for letting me try for one. I've been psyched about this clutch for freaking ever, so yay. Hope the story is ok, writing it in two days when i work 9 hours a day with no access to computers or internet was an interesting challenge. Zak and Craith were supposed to have much bigger parts, and the ending was supposed to be longer, but what can we do... Also, hope the form and everything was ok. I was in a huge hurry this morning so just want to make sure everythings in order

It's finally happened!

The Fireling clutch has hatched!

The pickup pages are kind of... individual, so no link here. XD Just go read it, and check out the images.

These are the first of three stages, and they are due up on July 29th. However, I will be giving out juvenilles and adults as soon as your story says they grow up, if they grow up before the two weeks are done -- and trust me, these images are worth seeing! :D

I'll have a Fireling Information page up tomorrow or so. Keep an eye out. :)

Whooooa. It's amazing that you posted this in the five seconds that I was checking the board, because when I got here the most recent post was something by Shard, then I went to the main page and the egg was yellow again, and I was like WHOA!

Anyway, now that that little aside is over with ... YAY!!!! Epsom is so cool, I am so excited I actually managed to get into this hatching! Now I have to sit down and write for it ^_^ I'm a little sleepy right now so sorry if my post is not as coherent as I'd like it to be. But once again --- yay!
