I wouldn't recommend it, not that the "bonding again while first bond is still young" is a problem (it isn't). Bringing a Destiny-born creature aboard its rival ship? The lab-mages would probably kidnap and bond-sever it and Mitch would never see it again.

Biotheurge 03 has been Prestoried, which means the trio of Flights automatically become Clutch 04. I've received two of the three flight stories, and as soon as the last one comes in, those'll be uploaded and the winners will be announced.

The three flights of 04 have been flown! Congratulations to the winners. These clutches will be AWESOME when the time finally rolls around for them to go in their Cavern. :D I don't know about you, but I can hardly wait! X3

FLIGHTS. FLIGHTS!

:D expect lotsa candidates from me for those. <3 hopefully not too many though.

PS- I always mix up agencies, even after i look at rule pages. is yours one that allows parents to have a free sponsorship, or would vien require a story.

Pheeee, a little question.

Timewise, when did the flights take place? I mean, compared to what's in the Caverns at the time of the flights...

Nessie, it looks like the parents are allowed to nab an offspring--but you have to actively send Phe a form (including the little bitlets that she's included to make sure you've read the rules) or else she won't give one to you. X3

-nodnod- I had the feeling. >.> I just wanted to make sure, becuase i've looked at the wrong rules before, for some agencies. O___o too many with the same sort of layout/relations! XP cuz AD and SCD are so closely tied, you know? but SCD has different rules.

ahem, i ramble. :2

I'd say...around the time 00/01 are moving out and 02/03 are moving in.

So last night I finished up an info-page for the Balespawn of Theurge 00, and once it was done, I realized I'd plotted up some really specific things that could very well affect the sort of candidates people want to send for them. Because yes, the Balespawn are a new and POWERFUL species, and not just random goddess-and-demonthing-spawn.

So if you'd like to read up a little bit on Balespawn, here you go. Yes, that's the adult image in the size-chart.

Oh, absolutely. Post here, PM me, email me, whatever, and I'll add it. Edits to the breeding, no? XD No Dyrmysts and such.

pretty aduult. <3

But yeah, that does knock things around a bit.. hmm. Knock all three of mine to undecided candidates, becuase they don't do well with corruption-- the closest i think to a suitable candidate would be chernobyl, but she has to stay the way she is. :/ bugger constraints.

if youdo decide to toss an undecided candidate of mine one of the balespawn, I request that it be as close to neutral as possible. >.> I'm actively trying to maintain as close to neutrality as i can get in mindspace.

I'll put down the basics.

Restrictions to realm-travel: No balespawn can enter either Lanse'shri or the Dyrmyst's dragon's home of Dyrmin without being invited (and they aren't going to be invited to Dyrmin, sorry ^.^). The Dalake of the realms have put anti-corruption shields around their worlds which creatures of this sort of corruption may not pass.

Spirits of Dark's type are immune to the mutating qualities of balefire. Half-spirits may or may not be, anything less than that is suseptable as normal for balefire. Spirits of Dark's power-level can reverse the changes, but it takes alot of power to do so.

Dyrmyst Dragons are suspectable as normal to balefire, but the shapeshifting Dalake are, for lack of a better word, allergic to it. As powerful as these Balespawn are, a hatchling could make a Dalake very ill and an adult kill one just by being in the same area as one.

There are no breeding restrictions concerning Dyrmyst Dragons--in fact, they might go after them more. Dalake and Balespawn cannot breed, however--the Dalake would die before they got that far. ^.^;; Also, the Balespawn would probably not take a Spirit or Half-Spirit as a mate, depending on the power level..these Spirits' natural immunity to corruption makes the chance of having corrupted offspring 50% at best...I'd guess the Balespawn would rather look elsewhere. ^.^;

>:D Oh, goodie, that changes things rather a lot! >3 Must finish that story of mine at some point. *fingertaps*

Phe, are the Tralvisk immune the corruption of a Balespawn in the same way that they are to magic? Or does this fall under a different range?

They are definitely the awesome, but I can find no inspiration for a plotline that would work for one of them...

Oooh...maybe I can. Let me PM you with something.

Okay Myr, I editted the Abilities, Breeding Compatibility, and Other Notes section. Let me know if that's alright, or if I need to tweak further.

ehcreeeeeepy.

They sound cool but I can't write evil to save my life. The few times I've tried has destroyed entire plotlines because I end up sympathizing with the baddies and the goodies loose the will to fight. But I can't write pure unsympathetic evil to save my life because I quickly lose interest in a story about a character I have no sympathy for. But congrats to all who get one!

Bah XD A villain you can't feel sympathetic for is a boring villain X3 My fav stories are ones in which the bad guy isn't really evil at all, but simply has different motivations than the good guys. And I bet you could get away with a neutral or only slightly-evil, or just plain messed-up evil, rather than omgkillitnowit'ssoevil-evil : )

Yeah, hence the clarification that these guys *corrupt*, not *destroy*. X3 They want power on their terms, not to annihilate the rest of the universe! (Leave that to the hydras.)

*checks*

Accually, lesser powered but still full spirits (jagglings and gafflings) are immune to balefire as well, but they lack the power to change the results on anyone else. ^.^;;;

They may like vampires. ^.^;;

Oop, Gayle pointed out to me that I missed this query. Sorry 'bout that!

No, because Balespawn corruption powers are not magic. They are an innate ability. :3

Cool stuff. :D Thanks, Phe!

*gets back to writing* XD If we can only ask for one Tralvisk a week, I hope I can get some in time before the hatching... I wonder if I could get one for each candidate? X3 I would love to have them nabbing one each at the same time, IC... would it be okay if I placed a filler "and they all got one" section in the story? Right now I'm really only focussing around one character anyways, in prep for the first Biotheurge.

Upon reflection, I've changed the timing on pet adoptions. They aren't as in-demand as I feared they'd be, and new clutches are easy to make, so:

Pet adoptions are now one-at-a-time rather than one-a-week. As soon as your last pet has been paged and I have a link to it, you can adopt another one.

Hmm...I think the character I'm going to try to send to Biotheurge 00 may need to adopt a Tralvisk before I send her... >.> You'll be getting an app from me as soon as I can get a decent stats page up! :mrgreen:

Believe me, Phe, if I had a character in the vicinity who wanted one, I'd snatch it right up X3 But none of the chars I've sent you or are planning on sending you want one XP :: mildly annoyed at them XD ::
