First Flight!

At Kavera Weyr, the first flight is about to open! I have been meaning to do this for a while, and I think I have the time now, as long as I keep to the deadlines I set XD

Gold Ploath, hatched at Alabaster, is rising, and looking for a few good males to chase her. This will be a traditional-style flight.

The flights page at the weyr (along with several others) is not currently up, so I will put the rules and form here.

Rules/Requirements

1 - All the usual flight rules (dragon must be paged, adult, no chasing somewhere else at the same time) apply here. You do not have to have a story for the flight (it would be nice, but as I don't have one for her right now, I'm not going to be picky!), or even for the dragon, but they have to be paged.

2 - Pernese only. And preferably the traditional 5 colors. I may allow a white or two, if they're out there and really want in, but I'm not guaranteeing it. Strictly speaking, I should limit it to bronze and brown, but if you have a male you think can fly her, or who believes he can, send him in XD

3 - For now, no more than 2 per person, until I see what kind of interest there is in this.

4 - Ploath would like at least 8 chasers - she is not the main queen, but she is the first to fly here - she wants it to be good!

5 - Please feel free to post questions, if you have any. Either post the form or PM me. Any future flights/clutch form will go to the email I have, but I haven't fully got it ready yet.

:3 would the characters be hanging out at the weyr afterwards? Cuz I like my characters to continue living in mindspace, but i'll see if there's someone i can keep offworld if you'd prefer that.

and do you mind what gender the rider is?

Nope, they don't have to stay past clutch hatching, if your dragon wins. And I guess, technically, they don't have to stay until clutch hatching, unless you want them to; I'd prefer it, but it isn't necessary.

And no, gender is not important. I'm going for as traditional as possible, but Ploath is demanding a large number of chasers, and I don't know if I can afford to be that picky! Cav, her rider, is straight, though, so if the rider isn't (or would rather stick with someone they are close to), she/he may bring a "friend" XD That also goes for any non-human riders; almost forgot about them!

Updated the first post with all the males I've received. That was fast! I think I'll leave it open for more until tomoorow night or Saturday morning; give everyone a chance to look through and see if they have someone they want to send.

As a matter of fact, I do. No baby image, but I am working on that... I have a hard time with the little bitty guys

This guy that was supposed to go to Shiolar in a dragon trade, but since he never gave me his end, and he's gone now, I think he will become a Search dragon! And an example, too XD

I like to do flight stories, and I should get some time to do some tonight. If I do have any unoccupied pernese males, which I'm sure I do, I'll send 'em your way.

Okay, applications for chasers are now closed! Flight should be out by the end of the week, though I'm going to try to get it done by tomorrow.

And the flight page has been added; I should have the rest up before I get the flight done XD

I'm going to have to start up my own update thread pretty soon!
