The rules are pretty simple: participate!
Create one or more images - they can be whatever size, style, or creature as long as the theme is something around winter, christmas, solstice, or other winter-holidays. I prefer that people make at least 2 images, more if they're all fairly small flittery types. Animations are welcome. You can specify names or other information if you wish, or leave those things up to the recipient!
What I want everyone to do is NOT POST IMAGES HERE!!!! Please! This is meant to be a secretsanta-ish exchange. I'll count up everyone and when we're done contributing I'll randomly assign people their images with dice rolls.
When you apply, please tell me if you'd like:
1, 2, more or fewer images
large or small images
things which do or do not require bond
things which do or do not require stories, etc
what specific type of creature you'd prefer (which may or may not appear randomly, keep that in mind!)
I'll keep a tally going of who wants what, and that way hopefully folks will get an idea of how many images will be needed in the long run. I may also include how many have been contributed, just in case.
Last years images by the way are in the /2k5 directory and may not work from pages linked, because I didn't change any links on the pages. But nothing's been removed, just moved.

Please include what link you'd like people to use when they put these images up.

Since this is a WINTER event it's not going up before Christmas. Images should be due December 30th and I'll try and get the list and everything organized by sometime in mid-January-ish as I can.
After things are said and done, I personally won't mind if people trade if they wanted something and didn't get it, and it happens to be exactly like someone else's - and they're willing to trade. But I'd like to keep it as random and even as possible, I will try and make sure that folks get big and little if they want both, and not over load those who didn't want too many. Last year I think folks got 3 if they wanted em, and Myrror had that huge wad of cute holiday critters that pretty much everyone got at least one or two of too. (Don't know if she'll be doing that, but we can always hope
