Cacopheny!

When you said you wanted something that already existed, for your dragon, does it have to be a pre-established species (like xenodragon or alskyrian), or can it be the first of a new species?

I'm having trouble because I don't have any of my own species to start from and I don't want to steal someone elses. I tried taking from some of my own dragons and drawing a baby from that, but it really wasn't working for the theme.

What should I do? (And I'm sorry it's late! I've been stuck!)

The reason I say I like pre-existing species is because they're easier to plot for if they have a background, someplace they're coming from. Whether this species existed before or after the creation of the image doesn't really matter.

But really, even if it's just a random dragon, that's okay XD It's a preference, not a rule, and I can make due if it doesn't have its own species, homeworld, etc.

E-mail: jld77084@yahoo.com

~ABOUT THE IMAGE~
Color(s): anything but pink
Features: see theme
Species: see theme
Element(s): see theme
Theme: Mythology - Norse, Greek, Egyptian, something from a myth. Can be a god or goddess, a monster, an idea. I'd prefer not human, but if you really want to, it's up to you
Gender: Male or Female, whichever fits
Name: if something fits while you're working on it, let me know, otherwise, I'll name it
Question! Would you prefer quadrupedal, or humanoid-bodily shaped but decidedly *not* human? And should it be a blend of pantheon mythology or something very close to a given myth-critter/deity, or do I get to go wild with mythology/pantheon blending?

thanks!

Like anthro-style almost? I have no problem with bipedal/humanoid, just didn't think people would be big on drawing them for a dragon exchange. I'm up for whatever. Have fun with it XD

Totally random, but I figured asking here kept other threads neat:

So, Phee! I've got a few designs for your second beastie from this last month; I was just curious, would you prefer them to be able to weild a sword or not? They certainly can; I've just a design I wish to play around with, and was wondering if you were more in favor of... say... six or eight limbs. =D

XD If you're still going with the Paladin theme, then yes please. X3 And wacky limb combinations and numbers are fun! Squee. This sounds awesome. XD <3

Jess D!

Could you scan some more pictures of the Magdalena, please? Image-Searching on Google wasn't scary, but wasn't helpful, either.

I can do that! Let me know if these are enough - the costumes are not exactly the same, as there are about 3 or 4 different women as the Magdalena. Her usual weapon is a spear, though I managed to find mostly pictures of her without it XD

I can scan a few more if you need them, the page angles on some of the others are a bit trickier, so I'll wait, and do them only if you need more!

Cacopheny

You didn't specify a species for your gorgon, but did you have anything in mind as to whether it should be more anthro or more four-legged creature?

I don't really have a question for you. Just wanted to let you know that your dragon is being worked on and may possibly be a little late. I've got a ton of stuff to do this week, work and non-work related. I'll work really hard, though!!

Your exchange dragon is probably going to be a bit late, but I'll try to finish it as soon as I can. What the heck do you mean by 'battle cow', though?

You have any good images of Xerxes I could get costume reference from? I have ideas, but I can't find any good images, and I have not seen the movie.

Hey, Gail? Could you re-upload that song for the october exchange that I was working on for you?

:\ Seeing as how I'm on my laptop now and my desktop (which had both the song and the half-finished image) is packed away, I was thinking of starting over again for your exchange dragon. XD Now that I have a /little/ more time on my hands I'd like to start catching up with everything that I've missed.
