Nidus Avengaea Halloween Takeover!

Something strange is happening on the sands of Nidus Avengaea...

The parents are a mystery (and with any luck there are more than two), heck, even the riders of the parents are a mystery! But those two mysterious messengers have come back out, and demanded the Nidus gather their creepy, their tricksy, their morbid and their Halloween-loving (though no one on Avengaea quite knows what this 'halloween' thing is) for a clutch!

So the challenge for this clutch (notable on the Clutch Page) is to write me something halloweeny in five paragraphs! (You can either choose to consider lines of conversation 'paragraphs', or not, up to you.) Because the deadline is midnight on Halloween, I figure this is only fair! Stories are required, but five paragraphs is do-able, I think. :)

For you more long-winded sorts, we'll take longer stories, but only if you feel like writing them, and they don't at all guarantee you... high-rankers. >D It'd be entirely for your own benefit should you choose to write a novel!

Bwah hah hah hah hahhh...

Kah-yup. I've got my halloween characters already with a 2 page story, before you posted the clutch. But then I was also waiting - was this one that had been hinted at we're waiting for the AAM nasties to hatch? I can't recall since I'm a tard and tired and at work, whose that was. I don't wanna leave anyone with a vacancy at their halloween clutch if I send them all to this one.

:3 This was the one waiting for the AAM beasts. Or, well, this event, anyways. It's the difference between having one template up for grabs or two... this still goes even if the AAM thing doesn't quite hatch, it'll just be cooler if it does. X3

Hey, can a person send two people with one story (and then, would the story have to be ten paragraph's long?)

Only asking because I may have two in mind, but sending them separate isn't that feasable

This whole 'challenge' thing is pretty loose, so if you folks want to shake it up a bit, tell me your suggestions!

Hmm... a fairly side-note question, but do those five paragraphs have to include getting to Nidus Avengaea for the novos? Well, I mean.. detail-y getting there, besides just some random line at the end about going to said Nidus to bond at the wweeiirrddd clutch.

:: will upload in the next few days and send in :: Was rather fun, actually, though it's entirely dialogue, so it's more like 11 paragraphs, each of one or two short sentences apiece.... I think that still fits the challenge, though, don't you? XD

you might be getting a candidate or two from me~ i was actually thinking about this in class today~~ -thinks- i just hope i can write for this AND the WDH and everything else. XP but five paragrpahs isn't too hard... actually, it is., >.> but i will try! Valiantly~ and fail, becuase for some reason even my sucky stories are longer than that. X.x YAY FOR TRYING.

XP For me, probably, but actually, this is pretty good in general, i think. I thought that was a limit, though~~ XP if we can write more, i'm all for it. freedom is good, and 5 sounds like a good suggestiony thing/

i think its like when you have to write a scholarship essay or something like that and you're limited to 300 words, and its really hard to convey your point in 300 words ... but people do it, but the word limit is actually supposed to be a challenge, to see if the people can get their point across in a short amount of time. It's something I was never good at but I tried *sends candidate*

Hey, the five paragraphs thing makes ME happy as a clam! XD My inspiration has been rather absent lately, so I'm pleased as punch knowing I can "get away" with a shortie here! XD ^___^

I'm happy? It'll be a nice challenge to write something short and sweet... At least it saves time on plotting... Not a lot of story can happen in five paragraphs...

Ooooh, does the five paragraphs include a stats page?
