Yes, folks, I finally got it finished! Or at least this batch. I hope you all like the hatching and your babies.

I'll give you guys until the end of December to get these pretties up, unless you give me fair warning that you'll be late.

Oh, and DF, if you want me to go into what all Zadesil told Sharak, I will, since they were going to discuss it while Zadesil ate.

As another random comment, I'm going to relax my restrictions on number of candidates and sponsors that people can have, just don't swamp me with a ton and a half - quality over quantity still.

And for everyone who's curious, no matter whether DF reveals what Zadesil knows or not, everyone will eventually find out, it'll just require a bit more work on my part to get everything set up.

And anyone poking around on Koshi Keidai *slaps your wrists, then does the 'tisktisk' finger-waggle* There's nothing there, trust me. It's still all on my computer, and will remain there until the WDH is over. I just felt like putting everything where it belongs to begin with.

EDIT: DNS, there are quite a few "strong but not quite evil" dragons that mated in this -- so yes, neutral candidates are acceptable, for either clutch, as long as you follow the guidelines for candidates.

Evil, I tend to believe, depends merely on which side you're on, especially in "realistic" settings. Very few things are pure evil or pure good.

hee, looks like this clutch is filling. XP will there be another half of this? (this is the main clutch)? where we can still submit candidates and everything? I plan on sending you one or two for the main clutch, and one for the beautiful sacrificial lamb. ^^ or somethinglike that. too tired to type'm now, though, so it'll have to wait a bit. sorry.

Oh, trust me, there's plenty of room in this clutch still. It was never designed to be a very small frenzy, on the basis that, when nasties decide the breed, they breed a lot, since the death rate tends to be so high in the young. I think Ty sums it up nicely with her nasties at Arx Atra Mons, where the stronger eat the weaker in order to grow stronger faster. Fights will occur, critters will get killed, Bad Things will happen...

And poor Sunaka is huddled off in a corner with several protectors. I feel sorry for her.

Oh, and after having read that rp of yours, Mystic, if you feel any need of me getting involved to play out Yikaeri and Revent or any of the other people at Akelara, just poke me and I will.

that works. goodgood. You'll just be hatching them in small batches, then? or hatching them all together, it's all good. the added time just makes for happy.
XP Particularly since the characters i wanna use aren't really paged yet. i'm thinking of sending you some minor godcharatcters from my egypt world, for some of the more nuetral dragons-- whic his, of course, a relative term here. -rollyawn- and a special character for sunaka.

Yeeaahh... like I've said, I'm sorry that this like.. random died. But I will end up finishing this this year, hopefully before the winter is over.

So, updated the list above -- this batch will be as big as it ends up being, but I'm going to close this batch in two weeks -- on the 10th of November, to be precise -- to more candidates, after which the second batch will open to candidates, and the first batch will hatch.

So I've got a question -- I'm going through my list of participants today and realized finally (or re-realized as it may be) that I have an Azonese dragoness, Veridiain, flying here. More - she's labled on her page as being an Azonese Royalty.

Now, back when I started this I probably remembered all that Sargon had to say about her Azonese dragons, but I don't recall anymore -- more especially, isn't there something up with the earings? I noticed that Veridiain has two, is there significance, or are those just decoration?

So, anything in particular I should recall, but don't?

Heheheh, not that I think she has the best of opinions on Akelara at the moment -- first the Hathian-hybrids (of which two pounced her) and now this issue.

A note to all:

This batch of the WDH will close at midnight tomorrow (Friday). If you want your characters in this batch of nasties, send them in by tomorrow midnight central standard time, either posted here, PMed to me, or sent to my email account.

The hatching will be out shortly afterwards, since I have most of the hatching finished, and I'm working on outlining and coloring the images, which will take a bit, but not too long if people here let me work (remember, I effectively have no Saturdays because of playing D&D and then L5R). So look for it no later than Wednesday of next week.
