Halloween Dungeon

Post by Dray »

Does anybody remember where Nicole's Halloween maze/event was, URL-wise? X3 I was thinking of doing a similar sort of "Go left," "Go right", find flits and codes to open secret links, etc. but I can't remember how to do it! :O Any help would be appreciated!

I think a LOT of planning and plotting and diagramming before hand will help you :)

Ooh - or you could use a java code to randomize pages! That way no one could just memorize the maze! :D

Yeah... I think it'd take a while to accomplish. >.>" but they it was so much fun, the other time around! And Sherra's Dungeon-crawl is pretty fun, as well... XD They look very very complex, though... I thought I should give it a try, at least!

I still want to do a Halloween clutch or something but I'm having so much trouble drawing wings right now...*pokes Pernese adult* :( And I have enough to do so I'll just sit back and watch. :P

What you need to do is make your pages first. Name them things you'll know or have a code.

I used them several times with the Belka adoptions

http://www.geocities.com/planet_twenty_ ... elka-3.htm This page has the first of the random stages. Also, it's got the link to the Free Javascript site that some of it came from. They've got a ton and they're fun to play with.

But you can view the source and copy my code if you want, it is pretty easy to see where the code is. :) but if you're in doubt, check the link site because that's where I got it. :)

Yeah I am glad I got them. :) It just seemed like such a shame to let a batch of well-made flitters go to waste!

Go breed em! :D

XD Would we need to put up all of the stages, or just the adult ones? I've gotta figure out how to fit in baby-images for my flits without making my pages much larger, I think...

Those little things? :) There are 5 images - the egg (on Belka-1 if you trace the links backwards) which is literally 4 pixels total; the little black squirmy thing, the crawlie, the chrysalis and the final Belka. I put mine up on the one page I have, but I don't care whether they're all up on yours, it's implicit that you know how to find em, since they're random pages and named weirdly. :)

Yeah they're up and waiting. :) There are... I think 25 varieties? They're split by chrysalis color and then by wing color. White, silver, black, gold, etc. - and then their element like leaf and fire. Hence why it was much easier to find a java script to split them up than to just trust people to take one without considering others.
