I don't know if you guys have seen them floating around or not, but there've been several '100 prompt table' communities set up across livejournal and deviant-art, as well as '30 x' where 'x' can be fanfics, sketches, romances, etc!
Anyways, I've been really interested in them, and decided to make an all-purpose prompt-list website, where you can pick whatever theme you like, and then fill a 100-cell table with prompts that randomly pop up on the website.
I'm hoping to set something up where if you complete ten images or storybits from the prompts provided, I'll include a character or prompt-word that you provide--a sort of incentive to do more of 'em!
Anyways, here's the site if you're interested!

Let me know what yout think--if you're interested in participating, I may set a community up on Livejournal, or fancy the website up so you don't have to join anything to play. ^_^
100-Table Prompt List

oooh that is coooooollll.
I'm not 100% sure how it works but if I can figure out I will surely participate. That and it's more fun than data structures. Ha.
The first word I got was bloodlines, there are so many directions I could go from there...
edit ...
*goes through the words* some of these are hilarious. Sixty-Seven percent? Hee!

This is how it works:
You go to the page and the word in the box pops up, and you can draw an image, or write a story-bit that pertains to the word. The goal is to do one hundred images or story-bits, in order to fill up a 100-cell table. When you finish an image or story, you post it on its own page, and link to it. For instance, if you choose 'Beginnings' from the list and do an image to it, you'd write 'Beginnings' in the table-cell, with a link to the image or writing.
The entry below shows an example of the old 100-cell tables, with a couple of finished entries:

With this website, you get to make up your own list, instead of following some of the pre-given prompts. X3 I think it makes it more fun because you don't /have/ to do an entry for a word that doesn't strike you as inspiring.
Astra: XD Yay, I'm glad you're enjoying it! Homework can aaaalways wait! ;P

I was interested in these sort of things, wondering exactly where they came from when I saw them pop up on some people's DevART galleries. And, jeez, I can get ideas for how barely-formed characters act or how a story goes based on words. This may actually help my writing block... Though I have a problem about showing my artwork on websites open to everybody. Would it be okay if I just posted them up here instead, in a separate thread? At least then, the forum might scare off other people. XP That is, if I even post them up. >.>;

I've had a couple of people tell me that they wouldn't like everyone to see their art, but that they'd use the prompt list for ideas because they like the words. X3 Really, that's perfectly fine with me! I'd love to see what you make out of them, but if you're shy about art or writing, I can understand.
>.> I think I may take away the rules on "it has to be finished art or big stories", though. XD It sounds so elitist. Scribbles can be fun, too.

I was thinking of only posting them here, in this forum, because I trust you guys. It's just that I don't trust others viewing my site. XP
