:3 I like this rating idea. If someone actually does something for it, let me know and I'll include it on the Nexus site!

In the meantime, would anyone be willing to write up a Beginner's Guide to Dragoning? I'm really horrid at writing instruction manuals and the like, and I know there are some stunning newbie-helpers here. It'd be for the Nexus site, and preferably should be done ASAP. :3

Under BONDING: also called 'Choosing' in a couple places.
Under CLUTCH: also called 'nest' or other words?
Under FRENZY: also include 'Flurry' as specific?
Under NEXUS: an expanded second definition to include 'Between' and other terms (since that's technically where it is derived, or maybe a 3rd definition to distinguish the 'travel between worlds' nexus from 'the nexus where these non-pernese dragonries exist' and 'the community of us'.

Under PSIONICS: teleportation is spelled without a t
You might want to cross-mention Candidate and Sponsor to indicate that both are sent to dragonries to acquire a dragon.

Nice list. It at first seems a bit short but with links to other things such as species and site info I think it's nice.

These descriptions are a little controversial. If anyone wants to add/edit them, feel free. I don't have as much experience with this change over as some of our members did.

Old World: In the separation from popular, publicized dragoning worlds, one of the most frequented planets earned the loving nickname Old World. This term was used to describe the world in place of its proper name when fear of legal action abounded. It is still heavily in use today and has even been adapted as a true name for the world. This world boasted a set number of dragon colours also called The Canon Five and was the first to use the term Between.
Also Called: Pern

The Canon Five: Originally, many agencies used only five colours to rate their dragons; green, blue, brown, bronze, and gold. Occasionally a white was thrown in, but white never made the cut for being a perment dragon colour. Since Nexiian expansion, The Canon Five have been adapted into many other heirarchies or done away with entirely. Now it's mostly Old World agencies that offer this rigid system.

Between: The method by which dragons travel from one world to another. Sometimes it is described as being a place of null senses, and other times it is a dark space with a temperature near Absolute 0. It will normally take a dragon a matter of seconds to travel from one world to another via between.
Also Called: teleporting, jumping, leaping, blinking, and the Void.

Eek, okay. I think I'm a bit weird about this site, but this is the fastest I think I've ever constructed a working website. oO aaha.

I don't think I'll delete it, but I can mark it as 'closed' if you'd like. :3 I'm trying to keep a good record of dragonries both past and present here, as often closed weyrs are handy for finding clutch records in... the only way I'll really, truly take something off the list is if it disappears forever from the intarwebs, I think. ^^;

on the subject of that, i dunno how you should list my dragonries. ._. i've got BSW and academy, but they're both in and linked from the mindspace main page. :/ how d'ya wanna tackle that?

Agencies that are separate from each other should be listed separately. :3 I'd say split the two up. I have the same kind of problem -- I could have listed Avengaea as my 'agency', as it links to both Sanctuary and the Nidus, buuut somehow I think it's less confusing, in the end, to list two different agencies separately. :3

Bah, once I've got the pages created, updating a chart is no problem at all. XD I should make a dragonry-form, though, as I usually have to make guesswork about whether an agency is hybridizing, purebreed; active or inactive. Bah! *flails*

Just keep me updated and all will be well. :D

BSW is both hybridizing and purebred, as it offers up the purebred BSW-MM-Pernese, and a few others. It's about equal, so i dunno how to divvy it up. Academy is mostly hybridizing, though there are purebred clutches that pop up now and again. it's first clutch was a mostly-purebred one.

I did just think of anouther vocab thing...plane shifting is the same as between; it's how the dragons and species of Anar get between worlds in the Nexus. It's simular in that way but to get to places around Anar they have to travel physically so it's only to get to other worlds.
