I'm all excited, Phe! ^_^ How goes the story-writing on the hatching-front, for these guys? Have you been sticking to your 'I write hatching-blurbs as they come in' guns?

I haven't been able... well, haven't chosen, more accurately, to do any writing except for personalities, actually. Since each sub-clutch needs to have an equal number of hatchlings in the end, I can't assign species until I know my final candidate count... and knowing the species makes enough of a difference in coordinating the hatching itself that I haven't done any of my usual blurbs.

I have been doing personalities, though, since those can be pretty independant of the species, and are sometimes more challenging than the hatchings themselves. XD

Buuuut I have a sneaking suspicion that the hatching will be released significantly after the deadline itself. <_<

*gasp* Finally gaining ground on my story! Yeah, three (working) days before the deadline... My track record is awful.

But, it's shaping up to be long-ish. If you wanna start reading now so you're not swamped when I (inevitably) get it finished and in at the last second, it's hereabouts, and will be updated whenever I get a new chunk done:

27 hours left before the Asandae clutch closes. Also at that time, if Lakota doesn't get a flight in, I will be removing Anii-shiba and her chasers from the flight board and requesting new riser auditions.

Drat! I thought you ment by the end of tomarrow. Forget it then. Just anouther reason I should stop trying because I'm obviously too busy living a life during the summer. I'm starting to seriously think about ending this after current clutches are finished because I simply don't have time. Don't wait for me (not that you would, of course). I was really eager to get in on this but *shrugs and goes off to finish organizing room*

um i dont think that phe was trying to be mean when she was saying that the deadline was tonight ... although I remember in previous clutches I was sure we had until the end of the day of the deadline to send in candidates :-/ Anyway sorry you feel that way Yakima, I felt the same way when I missed out on the Kirin babies from synth 6. RL does come before dragoning though!

Whats annoying me is that I had these three planned for months to send in but I've been busy riding my horse and getting ready for the fair. I've been too tired to do anything which is why I haven't even touched my Shimmer Frenzy stuff. I have there stat pages done but not the story, save Jal's which is only partially finished because his and the other four (the girl is being saved for a different clutch), have an entertwined story. I was going to work on it while I was camping but my laptop wouldn't stay charged to work on anything. I'm upset because I had them planned for this clutch for so long and I couldn't get to them...;_;

I'm ranting. I would work on them now but I have to work in the morning so life gets in the way again...*smacks something* I'm not in the mood to write 'cause I'm upset so - it's not like you're lacking candidates, either...heh...
