OMG! Rachael, I don't know what is wrong with me! I am so sorry I didn't PM you back! 0.0; I did get them and I love them! **snugs** Everything looks great. And if you have the time... if you could set up a nice table for Tan and Omonoth's offspring? If you want to. The links are above... or on the main FlammAgua site. Tan's pedigree is just so confusing! If you or DNS can't I will just have to simplify it... or something. Heh.

Neishai, no deadline... just sort of taking them as they come in... so feel free to work on whatever you like over your vacation. Just let me know what pairs you might want.

Omniwite, thank you again.

Oh good! *pokes Omni* If you wanted to... you could do another template or two while we're gone... XD

So... on the artist info page. the Current Pairings. Does that mean pairs that have been/are being drawn already? Or is that simply the results of the frenzy? Sorry I'm out of it and am so late to offer my art skills... been crazy lately trying to get ready for the next couple of days... ^^;

Um... if you want, you can pick a couple pairings you'd like to see done by me. My dragon art style is *scratches head* help me out Omni? Rather sleek? I like doing long bodies, limbs, mane, etc. *shrug* I did a 'Kagome dragon' for Yakima in the exchange that turned out being an Eastern that people seemed to like... ^^

Edit: *slaps forehead* Yeah, and my avatar/icon IS of course my own art. I'm a dork... ;>>

Hmmm... let's see here.

How about, Shin'heng and Letoveysha?!

Or Echar and Latiral Sislen-Oranato.

Or both. ^ ^

Shin'heng x Letoveysha - sounds marvelous. ^^
Echar x Latiral Sislen-Oranato - instead of Echar, how about Rinji N'taou? (strange -pedal dragons with fluff, and horns...?)

Suggestions...
Ausente Selamputo x Whenna'Lin Gredelle (moth-dragons?)
Tolerare Soloculi x Kachine Amitola (super-camo dragons with feathers and big ears!) - I don't think I can color this though, I haven't tried animation.
Cheshire x Sus-sia (insane/eccentric, Eastern-bodied, fluffy hydras!)
Namesten x Tribanecharith (guaranteed trio-ness...with fuzz!)
Bancha x Malaise (wolf-y, featherwinged, fluffy-tailed, and feather crests!)

I don't know if I can do all of these... but they really sound like they could be fun. If I were to draw all these, I don't think I could color all of them as well. Maybe a couple... x_X;

Dray, (not wanting to log out of JKat's account, since that automatically marks all subjects as read for next time):

>_> I would really not like to see Tanjo's template simplified, so if Rachael doesn't get one to you, I can easily modify it myself. I know that it'll be larger then your typical mother/father table, but I've done larger ones before so it's not a biggie. He's just got lots of mixed blood in 'im that I'm proud of and would like people to be able to see!

Also: if a dragon is taken for one pairing, is it possible to use him again for another one? I'd like to do a pairing between Tanjo' and a certain cat-dragon--and if not her, then a certain kitty-dragon--but since I see that he got used once already, is he now off limits?

And another side note for Tanjo': he's got a bloodline-sense that lets him know if the dragon he's nearby is related to him up to four generations back, forward, or (I think), side to side. Please don't pair him with any Selamputo's or Landwerlen's, or Rufasilex's or... XD Any other offspring of the parents on his pedigree? That's another reason why it's so important, since that trait may pass down into his offspring! And, since he's got so much Aven' blood in him (this goes for any other Aven-descendant, I think, if their great-grandparents are one, then it still counts) breeding them with a multi-header would yield only one-headed offspring, or none, if the pairing /can't/ result in one-headers. o.o

(I'm sorry if I sound very picky with him, but he's nearly the most important out of all of my dragons. XD The picture that DNS drew was absolutely gorgeous, I'm just making nitpicks for the future.)

Aireona, could you link the artist's page to the list of parents, and vice versa? And, if possible, could you make all of the pairings into links--say, Tanjoubi x Imonoth would allow you to click on their names so you can see who the parents are at a glance? ^_^ It'd make browsing much easier!

Yay, neishai, those pairings you suggested have a lot of my draggies. <3~ And i'm pretty sure dragons can be used more than one, dray, if that's what your asking? Cuz I drew redrum babies and he's in two pairings, as is Pearla-tiki. -noddles-

I think the only worry was that a dragon might be passed-over. I tried to get dragons that had not been paired before, but obviously there were a couple in there who had already paired off.

Um, I was worried there might be some problems with pairings. I tried to be careful, but I might have missed something that the owner of dragons would see easily. I was going for both little/no interbreeding, as well as asthetics.

Um... honestly Aireona, unless someone wants to draw a pairing I've suggested, I would like to try all of them. But if someone else wants to... say they have a pose in mind or a softspot for their favorite, I'm not going to deny them. However, I am going out of town Monday (tomorrow) so I won't see any objections after today... :/

If there isn't anything else... I'm going to lay down for a while. I kind of stayed up all night getting files and stuff off the net for my trip. (such as links and reference notes for the dragons here) I just... oh, 5 minutes ago ran out of steam completely... x.x;

0.0 Wow... let's see if I can answer everyone. Heh.

First off, to answer Dray's first question, dragons may be reused, pairings are the only things that I don't want repeated.

Also, that is fine, Dray- I don't want to mess with any of the dragon's pedigrees... I will let you know if I don't hear from Rachael. And, of course, we will try to be careful with how he is used. If you see anything that you don't like- just poke me. And if I have timie... I will try to link things up for you better- at the moment I am rather busy. And um, Dray- did you know that your Fuzzy (Cran and Zein) dragon is nearing abandonment? I PMed you... but since you aren't on your own account.

Neishai, go for it! I will just have to update the list. ^ ^;

That was shorter than I expected... **tired**

*finishes inking her first set of outlines* I think I need to snag Necivaerlin x Letoveysha, and Amenolo x Oplintas. <3

*imagines all the owmyeyes color combinations for those two pairings* X3!

I should be able to at least ink out those pairings. I'm glad they're so well-received. ^^ But like I said, coloring may be a bit of a problem for me, time-wise. I don't know how that would affect how they are listed on the site or anything.

I love your coloring skills, Ness! If I can't get mine colored in a timely manner, you could color some of my templates! XP But... that might be kinda hard, seeing as I'm not the best inker.

IOf you could find a way to make the lines of the lineart as dark as they can possibly get when scanning, I can definately colour and whatnot. ^^ I'd love to. I love colouring other people's templates cuz I hate my own artwork with a passion. And inevitably i'll hate what i do to the end results, but that's just me. ._. <3~ I'd really appreciate colouring other people's linework, actually, so if you can spare a template or two, feel free to toss it over. ^^ Practice is good for the nessi soul.

We just got a new set of inks too, so... we'll probably need to do a few exercises to get the feel for em. I'll give you some tips too if you like. :P

DNS, I'd be happy for you, or anyone, to color some of mine. ^^ We'll see when I get back how many need to be colored. :3

Squee~ Thank you, neishai~ -wriggles happily- I'll be happy colouring one or two, but feel free to lob as many as you need coloured at my head. And the heads of all those who offered to colour as well, of course. ^^

Random thing that the comment about tips struck in my head-- Faber Castel or whatever the brand is makes some god awesome inking pens. PITT artist pens, black, they come in four packs. ;-; they dry almost immediatly, they don't bleed on almost any surface, and they don't get all splotchy, either. <3~

I can try to make them darker. I can't do that when I scan it, but afterwards I can. Play around with contrast and brightness and whatnot, I do it anyway. I'd be happy myself if you could color some of my pictures! I know I'm going to be doing at least 3 templates, possibly more if I snag some of what Shai offered, and I probably won't be able to color them all by myself, especially if I can't scan it (I don't know if I will be able to yet). XP *bounces*

And yes, true, I need to practice inking some random pictures. It'd probably help me out a lot if I did that. Especially because, apparently, I press too hard.

I press to hard with sketching~ It's a pain in the ass. X.x ^^;

But yeah, that would help tremendously. >.> What i do with lineart is make it as close to true black as possible, computer-colours-wise, and select out all the black-black shades and whatnot. It tends to loose some lineart, which, in peices that aren't as dark as they absolutely could be, means broken lines and lots of general annoying things to work through. X.x I learned that the hard way. but yeah. ^^ most scanners have the optoin to scan newspaper/B&W text, where it just scans in black and white. 'course, if you have a lot of dark-gray stray lines, or light gray important lines, it will cut those out, so it can be as harmful as it can be beneficial. :/ ah, the trouble with transffering drawn images to computer art~ I need to figure out better strategies. ^^

Me too! So I'm not alone, eh? I thought everyone drew too light, but I always thought it was annoying that every time my hand went over it it would smear and then you couldn't see the line, so I ended up drawing too hard. XP

Oh yes, our old scanner could do that, but our new one scans in high-quality. As soon as it scans, though, it sends the image to a photo editor and you can edit it there. I crop the pictures and make it darker there, but I can do all that other in PSP 7 as well, and I have done it before. It is a pain when it has missing blocks of line, I agree, but I could do that for you no problem!

No no no! Thank you! I take forever with coloring usually, and am much faster with drawing so it's easier for me. Though, I do want to color some dragons for this event, so I'll be doing some of it. ^^ Plus, I do all my markings by hand usually because I don't have very many textures and effects.

Hohum., What program do you use? I find markings a pain in the ass, so what I do is download a bunch of brushes/textures and whatnot and use those. If what you have is adobe elements or 7, we could exchange techniques~

and roffle, definately not alone on the sketching thing. I hate the tendency to smudge, though my girlfriend has managed to smooth my feathers some on that one. I just try to get the lines as dark and definate as i can. 'course, this kills the point of inking, and now i've been forced to retreat to velum and other translucent papers to do my inking, becuase or else the furrows in the paper totally screw the damn scan up.

XP darkening the lines would be lovely, but if you need, I can do some of it. ^^

I use Paint Shop Pro 7 solely, but I'm going to be learning to use a computer pen while I'm gone as well, so it should be a lot easier. Draw all the markings by hand... x_X;

Heh, I like to use my sketch pad, but I've mainly been drawing on computer paper and using a light box to ink so that I don't have to scan right away. But sometimes I don't bother inking before I scan (like on pictures where I do the coloration and markings with my pencil) and so I need to be careful when I erase and draw. I've found that when drawing on a hard surface rather than a softer surface such as plastic or the cardboard part of a sketchbook makes that a lot easier. :B But that's probably a "no duh!" *snerk*

Alright, if you need any extra tweaking after I've done some don't hesitate. Whatever is easiest on you! ^^

Well, if I can scan to a disk of some sort, I can plug it into my laptop and do coloringses. (Hence, me asking if any copy places do that... I wouldn't know.) XD If not... I'll just have to settle with linearts. ><; However I'll try the digital camera. It'll prolly look awful but who knows? o.o;
