I love the dancin dragons! Feel free to jump in wherever you feel comfortable, or ask whatever questions you need to ask. If something gets too personal for ya, my recommendation is to just back away slowly - lol. We're a huge pack of overfriendly grrls (mostly!) The biting thing can be avoided ... oh. Wait, no it can't.

Not sure if these fit your definition of dragon, but I can mass produce this kind pretty easily if anyone wants 'em:

This one's Z'resh. Carodos and Shiolar should find the name familiar. *grins* As to his size, in this stance, a 6' human would probably each his shoulder, and that's what's considered about average.

Uh, but anyway, crazy dragon robot fighting machines! All found inactive and buried under the sands of the planet I'm planning, along with the machines capable of building more. Considering the lack of raw material, though, I'm figuring that creating them from scratch will be pretty hard--most of the ones around are like, ancient technology that's been dug up and rebooted.

Random notes:
- They lack opposable thumbs, so they have to pick everything up with their tails or feet
- They lack teeth because the mouth is a port for data and for recharging their batteries (which are held beneath their armor-plated legs and can be refueled with eletricity or electrical magic)
- They can't speak, but the things on their head are antennae which they can use to communicate with each other/others through radio waves
- Humans/humanoids can ride 'em by hanging a body-harness down from the midsection and lying flat beneath them while they're in flight
- When not in flight, it's impossible to ride the ones that stand upright, but some are on all fours, while others have more than four legs...
- The material they're made of/their size varies with what's available/how they were found; intelligence/temperament varies with it's artifical brains: one in each hand and foot, one in the tail, one in the head, designed so that the dragon doesn't have just one single weak point

Uh, so yeah. If that works, then I'd be glad to draw up a few. Instead of a breed/species/clutch, I could give 'em product versions and serial numbers... *grins*
