warning: i'm having login difficulties. . . oo;;; i don't know wot's wrong, so. . . yah. . be warned. if you post a question and need an answer and aren't getting one, try emailing me. seraaches@vagueinsanity.net

unless you are adamant about them only sponsoring, yes, these kids will bond. however, they don't mind sharing bonds with others. ^^ gryvern share well. hehe

gryvern tend towards slavik sounding names, but mixes are very open about naming schemes. ^^ obviously no cuss words or the like. . . they do, however, like things that at least sound exotic.

2 days and no more responses. . . :/ was it a mistake to give any sort of extension to apps?

I need to get someone made for this, but I'm really busy this couple of days. If I'm not too busy at work I'll try and get something up for you. :)

Boo, i don't let my creatures live on forums; do you have an actual webpage somewhere?

She doesn't, to my knowledge, but I've been hosting her pages on occasion. Boo, PM me if you need that service again, though I really would rather not have a character who's used a lot.

-shakes head at DNS- Uh-uh, I don't want to give you extra work by hosting my pages. It's alright DNS, I'll just have to master HTML first and then try later on for other clutches. ^^'||

Nah, it's ok. Really. ^^

And thanks Shadow, I actually had that in mind already. But I don't want to do anything on a webpage until I'm certain enough I won't mess it up.

don't fret too much about messing up the HTML or your site. ^^ we all remember our first site (( mine was SSOOOO bad! ><; )); you can only improve with time. ^^

Trudat. Ugh, html can get downright nasty. >.> -just started experemning with div boxes-
>.> Graphics programs, they make you able to be lazy~!
Boo, there's some free software i know of, web design. not nearly as good as front page or dreamweaver, but Composers a good substitute-- it just uses some wierd html code, but that's for people who do half the stuff by hand.
Do a search for mozilla compiler. It's a browser package, but it comes with the compiler and other things and such. and if you need help figuring it out, i'll give you a few tips. I used it at my mom's house before i took front page over there. Atel's page was made with it.

:3 And you know what? There's absolutely nothing wrong with a simple web-page. I think that a lot of people would prefer a simple page to one that's completely decked out with HTML 'goodies', but which is hard to read or just... clashes (unless it's supposed to clash, in which case, then it's just funny!).

We won't get angry at you for messing up some HTML! If you want to ask for, say, critiques and helpful hints once you have your first page up, I'm sure that a lot of people here would like to help!

(>.> Also, geocities works okay for a free site... I don't like freewebs because I've had lots and lots of trouble with pop-ups and it shutting down my browser on me. >.O Same with angelfire and tripod.)

Geocities is still the only free site I will use. Nothing wrong with it IMHO and it's been around since the dawn of time so chances are it won't get bought out by a pr0n site the way mysp and crosswinds were, or a spyware factory like stormpages and sphosting. yeah.

;-; oh, poor free website hosts.
I keep my pages fairly simple~ tables and two simlpe div boxes are about as comlicated as i get. I use compiler and front page for the simple stuff-- instead of just coding the font color=boring and br and bold and italics, I just change some ettings. Those programs are no good for anything remotely complicated; you'd hav eto do that by hand. all it does is save time, and show you a preview of your webbie while your editing.
-falls dead asleep- freewebs has been good to me so far, but geocities is nice, except for that sidebar. that annoys the crap out of me. i liked the little corner ad much better.

sorry for typos, tio's talking to me. >>

the thing i like about geocities is the fact that you can minimize the sidebar out of the way. . . haven't been able to do that with any of the other free hosts. ^^

just a few more days and this is closing forever and ever and. . . . ^^;;; if these guys don't get adopted with the extension, they probably won't be offered again.

Are they still open to all? I was going to try sending someone, but I didn't post before your notice, so I didn't think I could.

If I can, what are the requirements again? Are stats accepted, or do I need a story?

I really like the pretty babies!

I've got the typical excuses. :\ I really do like these guys but things are conspiring against me. I know that shouldn't stand because I've had /lots/ of time to write... but this particular deadline is coinciding with a particularly bad set of things. I'm sorry.

What sizes are they and (um) because they're listed as 'hatchlings' are they still going out a bit older under that term? Just wondering.

Dasahv

There's the sponsored one, from clutch 2~ I updated atel's page as well with a name, though it will be awhile before i can type out paragraph personalities, so i let that bit stay blank. thank you SO MUCH for these two, Sera. ;-; I adore them. I think i already asked if we could breed htem, and if i didn't, may we? >.> If yes, expect to see some of their babies around. ^^

They're probably just a little old for ther term 'hatchling' but the gryvern are rather. . . . well. . . mule-headed, sometimes, and just like to mess with people. xD; the closest proper term would be 'noctyier', but hatchling is easier to type. xD;

as of right now, these are probably the size of a pony. when they grow. . . egads, where are my info sheets? hrms. . . . i'm pretty sure we're looking at about 20' at the withers.

they can be bred -once they've grown-. hehe don't want to try and breed babies! xD;

okay, i'm supposed to be studying for psych. ><; let me know if i missed your question. xD;;;; and sorry if i did. *very glad she got ppl with the ones they wanted* ^^
