Spiffy Rukels!

So I just started drawing randomly and I came up with the two rukels below. They're both based on mythological creatures. Go on, try to guess which ones.

Anyway, I plan to draw up a bunch more based on different creatures from myths, so any suggestions to that end would be welcome, provided I can conceivably turn it into a rukel.
The other thing is I have absolutely no idea what to with them when I finish. I don't want to keep all of them for myself, but the current rukel clutch still has lots of eggs left and isn't gonna close for a long time, so: Should I give them out as a draw, with a limited number and find some way of choosing winners from those interested, or more of a giveaway, where you can request colors and which one/s you want?

(Yes, these are just the lineart for now; I haven't colored them yet.)

Spiffy! The first would be Medusa? Dunno the second.

Should totally do a phoenix-rukel. X3

Draw or giveaway, I'd jump on either. After Ripley and Hicks, I'm totally determined to collect enough rukels to complete the Aliens cast. XD

*hugs both and looks at the beautiful, colorless, cretures. I dunno about the second for the creature. For a myth suggestion, a manticor is the first thing in mind. Manticores are cool! I'm sure Falicia and Orin would like a new friend.

Not unless Hayate's an incubus...Yeah, that one's a bit hard to figure out, but I didn't really have a lot to go by. (I like the little heart, though. So cute!)

Yep, it's a heart. I'll try to define it a bit better when I start coloring. *coughs* The headwings are not inspired by DMFA at ALL. 'course not. >.><.< Also, I'll try to do a manticore rukel, but it might be difficult. Not sure how to fit in manticorish characteristics while keeping it distinctly rukel-shaped. :/
I'm leaning toward giveaway myself actually, since I figured, once I shade and color it once, I can use layers and do lots of rukels real easily.

Incubus=Male version
Succubus=Female version

The image in question can actually be either, based on gender, as it doesn't look particularly gender-specific to me.

yep. Succubus = female, incubus = male.

Hmm, my thought is a mer-rukel (lower half is fishlike). I'd also suggest a sphynx or a harpy, but I am not sure how much of a difference you would have there.

Mmm, depends. Some people separate the two - Nymphs being the ones that can blind mortals with their beauty, Dryads being the tree spirits and such. ^_~

The Kynnese version of a Kirin was in biosynth 6, fyi. ^_~ Fluffy and scaly.
