There's this guy at the comic con who makes things out of car parts.

Things like...

I have a movie of it, soundless, but unfortunately it's 6.6 megs and I can only upload 5 mg at a time. Boo!

Shard - I know you live in SD, but if you ever happen up to Orange County, there's a store at the Irvine Spectrum that sells metal sculptures just like that :3 a bunch more, too, and smaller ones.

Actually, maybe it's not there any more. I'm going to visit my friend tomorrow and I'll stop by there, see if the store is there, and take some pics if they let me :D

He's probably from there. There were mini statues, about 15-20 inches tall too. There's one right behind the guy, of a predator.

Actually one of the larger cons is in Indyana. I can't recall what it's name is, because we never go outside the SDCC but I'm almost positive that there is one.

Of course, I doubt this guy carries these things out to other cons than he could drive easily to...

Oooh, that's a cool Alien sculpture ^___^ I showed it to my boyfriend this morning, and since we're both big Alien fans there was a lot of 'ooh'ing and 'ahhh'ing.
