Yeah, I mentioned that one, too. She has an extremely distinctive style, and that's definitely her. I don't recognize the images itself, but who can possibly not know it's hers?

On hatchigns, sure. But those have an everyplot, you don't need to be that fcreative. Queen hums, you drag candidates onto sands, dragonts hatch, candidates have thoughts, dragonets impress, candidates = happies.

of course you can vary that up a bit, but it's all predictable. What i have trouble with is some character interaction, and plots. I can't make a plot for the life of me. I can play a premade one, but i can't make one. And character interaction is dull at best, because I'm kind of boring. >.> ^^;

Wow. I've now been stolen from by both Neopetters and Gaians. What a thing to come home from my first day working a Sunday to discover!

I can't really bring myself to be more than annoyed, though... probably because I'm tired. XD I'll be angry after a nap, maybe....

So, since it seems other people have already jumped on bringing the thief to justice, I'll just say "thankee" to all that caught this happening and are acting to fix it.

Except a good part of the art was stolen directly from our sites--like my Synth 09ers and I saw one of the Birthday Bash mutts in use, too. Making the board wholly private--which I COULD do if I took several hours to privatize each forum and then give each user permission to individually access each forum--really wouldn't do all that much in the end. Not as long as we give our art out via our personal sites.

Art theft happens... just gotta hope you manage to catch and stop it when you do.

You know I've never really been good enough to HAVE something stolen, except for once, but I think that if/when I do have my own agency my attitude is going to be "TAKE my stuff. I don't care. I'd prefer you didn't, because it's not NICE, but whatever floats your boat." If I were selling dragons for a profit or something and then they stole them I might be upset, but dragoning is just a hobby and I have more important things to angst about. Of course I understand why OTHER people get upset about it because for a lot of people art is something they put their hearts and souls into, but for me drawing is just something I kinda do on the side. Now, steal my writing, on the other hand, and I'm coming after you with a torch and pitchfork

XD That's my opinion, pretty much. Then again, this is the first time anything of mine has gotten stolen, so it's still kind of a novelty to be amused about. The whole dragoning thing... I figure that if it's something that you're going to get your panties in a knot about, it's not worth doing anymore. :\ This is supposed to be a hobby, right? XD So sharing and mixing things up and whatnot isn't such a bad thing, just so long as people are talking and asking permission and crap. It's when it gets all... what, stressful and stuff, that I just don't understand. XD

With dragoning though, iunno. :/ cuz if someone else was offering out my lineart, it would take the novelty away from mine. >.> PLUS people would want theirs over mine, most likely, since most people could colour better.
Then again, getting angry about it would take too much of my energy, so i probably would only be pissed for like. a minute before getting distracted. Short attention spans~

Oh, I'm not trying to say that I'd condone other people ganking my templates and claiming that they /owned/ them! XD I'd probably just smatch them politely and move on with it... there's just no point in getting freaked out about it--stress is a killer, the less of it I have to deal with, the better!
