Tried roleplaying on Gaia once, because I'd heard on the grapevine it was meant to be good. Didn't work. If you have any clue about plot, storyline, character development or creating characters that aren't Mary-Sues, you get ignored. And if you're not on dial-up, you're totally unaccustomed to how slow those pages load, so you inevitably go to sleep at the keyboard waiting for that refresh to actually happen...

Ahh, Gaia.. I sits on my donation items and hope that someday I'll find a sneaky way to sell them for real money XD Trying to RP there is like poking yourself with a rusty needle, over and over.

I copied down the 'owner's list' so that if the thread gets taken down (which will likely be the case, and hopefully the owner banninated), we can make sure these people don't have the dragon images in their sigs or on their profile pages (I've seen at least one) >_>

-shudders- I remember my time there. I couldn't buy anything because I sucked at it and roleplaying was hell. I like the neoboards. Quick, easy, and anonymous. Cept now they're crappy too, and they were juvinile to begin with. -sadface-

Check their journal pages too, people put images there a lot of the time.

Some of the DRoP roleplays there are still pretty good. I go find one even now if I'm bored. There was a cool one, once, where the person who started the board had a spaceship arrive with a load of people who happened to crashland. My poor character had the misfortune to find them while on a sweepride... It was a lot of fun... But yeah, decent roleplays over there are pretty rare and unique now...

I doubt the gold does get paid back, but you never know. If the art thief isn't banned, they might be ordered to refund the gold? I dunno what Gaia's policy is on that kinda thing...

Every single freaking image is stolen from here o.o I found Kat's Piralen, Terry's pure SCD mutt, and one of Aiereona's dragons later in the thread (page 28 XP ) o.o This is just... disgusting.

And one of her example images is my dragon! :: tugs unhappily on Guari's tail to try and get her off that page ::

ods- places like that tend to steal all their work, becuase the things the owners do don't compare. Oekakicentral had something happen like that recently. superrin or something on DA stole like, ALL of her glalery from there. it was wierd because those things WERe in vastly different styles and at the last page of the gallery was her crap. amazing that no one noticed. Whatsmore, she said that some pictures were like, seven years old, or that she just started doing a genre-- the pictures to which were near perfect-- and that sort of thing.. X.x and she talked down all the pictures, as well. Art theives tend to be pretty. eh.

I happen in there once and awhile, but now they're fairly rare and half of them are crap. :/ What's your neosn, shiolar, i may have played with you once or twice. But then again, probably not, i'm known there by the same name as i am here.

No, I wasn't. Not for long, anyway. Usually long enough to create a character and then realise that I was the only one who had any real imagination. I can't remember any names offhand, though. It was a couple years ago, at least.

They're all dead now, so I've lost the url's. :/ ;-; sorree~ The only ones I have the url's too are fairly boring. One noncanon one that's the normal sort of hay flight-hatching-flight-hatching. Two semi and noncanon ones that are halfdead and have the same sort of mundane air to them. One dead one that was pretty normal until the hatching, towards the end of which got a bit odd. It was too dramatic for my tastes, though. :/ and probably one or two more, but i can't remember them.

If something stupid involves a roleplay, feel free to poke me. though in retrospect, i'm not that good at roleplaying things~ Which is probably why i like this sort of thing. Writing stories where i control everything takes away the akwardness of social interaction.
