Just a note to say that Gen 01C closes tomorrow, so if anybody else wants to send Candidates or Sponsors in, you've got about 30 hours in which to do so.

And I haven't even drawn Gen 01D yet... yet another thing I need to do tomorrow...

However, because of the way I'm running things at Mirus now, there's no harm in having a few extra clutches flying around. So Allorath Rufasilex and Bokuhi Usadah have another clutch, since so many people wanted another shot at that one. And there's a random litter of purebred Mirusii, for good measure.

Clutches will be open for two months, as I'm sure I've said a few times already, with individual bonding.

I will, with luck, have Gen 01C all nicely done by the end of this weekend, and Gen 01D open. Gen 01D is Shirria x Luera, which will result in highly varied offspring - they can have anywhere between four and ten legs, with anywhere between zero and four sets of wings. In general, stories with lots of effort behind them will get the dragons with more appendages, unless the writer prefers less.

A wingless four-legger can be arranged for you if you want one for the BWR, Dray.

Like, once I've actually done the template(s), anyway.

*laughs* And here, just before I read that last bit, I was thinking, "wooh, I'll just write a one-paragraph add-on and I'm all set!"

I'm interested in seeing how 01D will run, with that much variety! It should be really neat!

I'm intending to run it as a kind of... no fixed number of dragons or any fixed colours, appendage quantities or anything like that... Just dragons prepared individually as Candidates / Sponsors come in. I figure that way, everybody gets a chance to get one, if they want one.

But I have plans already for how to do the template, at least. If I draw it right, it'll just be a case of removing certain sections and moving others around. Fortunately, my current style lends itself rather nicely to that method. I'll just have to draw a template and somehow stop myself getting carried away with the legs.

One day, I'm gonna do a dragon with like... fifty legs or something. That would be so cool.

I didn't think of using a tube, but that WOULD be easier than trying to actually draw something with that many legs!

Gen 01C closes in approximately 12 to 13 hours, give or take a bit. Currently, I think I have less apllicants than Candidates and Sponsors, so some people may well be getting extras.

Having ten legs, six wings and three tails, this is one of the higher ranking ones. There are also various combinations all the way down to four legs and no wings. The templates are all done, but not actually shaded yet.

Currently, each template has 10 layers, and there are a total of 11 templates. Who knows if they'll all see use? *shrugs*

Since the mother is brown with dark brown points and stripes and the father is rainbow with black spots, just about any colour combination is possible.

As with the other clutches, it's open for two months, with each Candidate or Sponsor getting their dragon individually. Which is a good thing, as long as you don't all rush to get one at once. The big one above took three hours to colour...

Okay I'm going to try Lenore... again... It's not a new story, in fact it's been waiting almost 2 years for something to happen... so hopefully this time she'll be paired up, and if something else happens later for her, so much the better. But I think she made a good candidate anyway.

Wasn't sure what to call the stealth ability... these dragons don't have magical abilities like most dragons... I guess they're almost like a variation on psionics or something...

It's a redirect domain only (why pay for hosting when I own my own server and hosting doubles the cost?), which means it's only the URL for the main page that changes. But www.ktrenal.com is better than http://shiolar.merseine.nu/mirus/ don't you think?

I don't mind being flooded. I don't usually get so many Candidates, at least not all at once. It was just a lot to do all at once. The other three will prolly be tomorrow, after I've redone the shading on the Allorath x Bokuhi template.

All of hte Generation 01D's are up. Pierre got a new url, though. Omglink!

The mirusii would be up, but my mother is kicking me off the computer, which means i'm put back yet another day in all of the pages i have to make. -tabs things- they;ll be up evnetually. The mirusii will be up tomarrow, and hopefully i'm still inspired to write for them.

The Gen 01D'ers technically shouldn't be able to teleport, since neither of their parents have it. But you can add it in if you really need it. Mirus comes with plenty of random portals and such to take them home, though.

But yes, feel free to copypaste the bonding stories for your pages. Credit back to me, of course, but otherwise they're free to use as you like.

And don't feel bad about the quality of your Candidates. The dragons got such detailed personalities because you gave enough on your Candidates pages for me to create nice bonds for them.

Think you added up the legs on your 01D'ers wrong, too. You can't actually see all the legs, coz they're drawn lying down, but Adenro has 8, Namesten has 10, and Senesta has 4. Sorry 'bout that... not drawing my dragons clearly enough, I guess.
