x.O Is it possible to have a draw where the winner gets to write for the hatchling? I felt very intimidated, trying to think up a story to compete with Caco, so last time I didn't write anything at all.

PICKUPS!

Some of the colors twitched a bit when I put them on the newly shaded templates. I also noticed that the Breasal-Kahan brood got resized a bit larger, sorry! ^^;; All babies have PNGs if anyone requests them! You have....mmm....three weeks to post! That's the 14TH OF MAY!

Gosh, I'd like to try too! A draw would be awesome. It's hard to compete against friends.

Oh no, I'm not trying to get you to /stop/ writing--far from it! ^_^ You write so well, it's neat to read your stuff! I just feel bad trying to submit something, knowing that you've written chapters for a story, and I feel nervous about trying to write anything because it's usually not at the same quality level--or if it is, it was done very painstakingly. x.O"

Doh, I forgot to mention this.

At the bottom of the pickup you'll see six still-hatchlings. Those I kept (and haven't colored yet as adults) because originally I didn't get enough candidates to fill the clutch after waiting like two months.

They did not officially bond. Now, because there has been some hindsight interest, I am tempted - to allow people to try and send a bonder, to see if any of these beasts will change their minds about their current situation.

I still intend to keep one or two. But. Anyone interested in trying to get one of the unbonded can submit a bonder -with a story about said decision- to me (via email or PM) and try to snag one. You may write about any or all of them in the story, but you may not get the one you want if it doesn't want to leave. You can still hint at a favorite though, I'll take it into consideration.

This is a chance for those that didn't get in on the clutch, mostly, but anyone can enter. (If alot of people enter, I'll do a random draw prolly, but I still want to see effort.)

Currently there is no deadline for this part, but if people are interested, I will set one. <_< Hopefully that made sense. Next up, Ranum babies!

So are they still babies when we write for them? Or have they all grown up? Do they have any specific personality blurbs that we ought to know about?

I'd like to try to write something for Zheng... is it likely that I'll get him if I try, or is he one of the ones that you're planning on keeping? If not him, then proably Cineir or Sahon. o.o'

They do not have blurbs, rather on purpose. They will be teen-age to near-adult around time of writing, but if you have a reason for timing it later or earlier, go right ahead. Any details anyone wants on Citadel are available too.

I honestly haven't decided which I'm still keeping so have at whoever you like. ^^

Just FYI, the 'potential abandonling' has been reclaimed so there's just the ones at the end. ^^;;;

And my apologies out to the RPers for the synth-06 guys, my laptop's video card got fried and I've got to wait about a week more before it's fixed. (It's being shipped out for service this week.) I still have my desktop at home but that's not where I was working on that part. ^^;

Just as an FYI to to folks patiently awaiting the growth of Ranum and Requiem's babies, I'm hoping to have them out no later than the middle of next week. They're my project this weekend (and considerthing there's only two template and WAY less heads, shading the templates will be infinitely faster).

More updates!

I'm shooting to finish shading and coloring Ranum's brood for this weekend!

Due to a computer crash when I was recieving the records from this clutch, I'm missing some. Whether I had them before now is irrelevent, though. I need the following URLs.

Feria's Chorale (IceCat)
Anien's Reilyn (IceCat)
Leiluna'Inana's Hymn (Dray)
Vaunyl's Rhiune (Um....Sil I think? I actually don't recall, I didn't have this candidate listed on my charts.)
Neniae's Ryzerih (Sil)

If I don't have these URLs for this weekend when they are scheduled to grow, said dragons will not grow. They will remain younglings until I recieve URLs, and if they are not recieved within, oh, say.....two weeks (May 18th, plenty of time considering just how long they've been due) they will be abandoned. Thankies.

The Citadel 'event' is still going on, if anyone is writing for one of 'the six'. <_<;; I'd like to take a tally of at least who's working on it, since if there's no one actually writing, I could stop the thing. ^^;;;

The special event adults aren't ready to go out yet (~poke Phe~) but I'll be checking URLs soon. You still have time to work on stories if anyone was doing that, so keep at it. Special event adults will go out as soon as they're ready. ^^;;;

Hey, DF -- are bonders a necessity for applying for those hydra abandonlings? 'Cause some of these guys are the nieces and nephews of Onessa, and she'd be happy to adopt them, but she's really, really anti-bonding... X3 I'd still write a story, it just wouldn't be a bonding one!

If bonders are required, though, I could still whip something up!

Originally, I required it for Rane, but that was a special case. Since these guys didn't bond when they hatched (like their brothers and sisters did) they don't need one now. So a sponsor story is perfectly fine. Just remember that they can really be any age when you write for them, since you'll get both stages immediately if one decides to follow along. ^^

But no, bonders not required this time.

Update: Adults will go out within the next hour.

IceCat's and Sil's, as listed above, will not grow, unless I get their pages in the next thirty minutes.
They have until the 18th to provide me with a very overdue URL or they will lose their dragons.
Should they remember this deadline, they will recieve their adults sometime in the future.
