Black Male or Female Men and Women Of lower intelligence than their siblings, the whites, the black dragons make up for that fact with their sheer, brutal force. They are more powerful, physically, than the slightly diminuitive whites. They enjoy dwelling in swamps, where they blend in at night. Black Fyre - A burst of icy cold water, pure black in color. It causes whoever touches it to be frozen for an indeterminate period of time.
Blue Male and Female Men and Women Blues are swift and nimble; somewhat smaller in body mass than their bigger brothers. They often act as messengers or scouts, much like their sisters, the greens. Blue Fyre - A blue-colored flame that looks much like a candle flame. While not overly powerful, it is useful for work at night, or when light is required. They love to swim and often prefer to live near water.
Bronze Male or Female Men and Women Bronzes are often referred to as King among the Geperna. Due to their strength, they are often kept as warrior dragons ( Battle-Drakes ). Their homes are found in mines of all sorts, although bronze mines are their preferred domains. Bronze Fyre - a fireball that is bronze in color; it contains shards of metal in it that cause extra damage.
Brown Male and Female Men and Women Browns are powerful, but often serve as ground-based protection in the event of war. While Bronzes and Golds take to the skies, these mighty dragons willingly remain on the ground, using their Brown Fyre breath weapon to it's fullest. They also enjoy living in the mountains, preferring homes that are in caves over anything. Brown Fyre - a fan of brown, flaming acid that burns the flesh down to the bone. If anything survives, they are horribly disfigured by the acid, while the rest of them is thoroughly torched.
Green Male and Female Men and Women Greens are also used as messengers, but tend to be better scouts, especially in forest and jungle type settings. Their lean shapes and sure-footedness allow them to easily work their way through trees. Green Fyre - A spiralling green flame that gives off a subtle light, vaguely reminiscient of a will-o-the-wisp. It causes little damage, but does mislead anyone looking at it.
Gold Female and Male Men and Women Referred to as a Queen, the golds are the ones commonly associated with egg-laying and leadership. They are powerful and mighty; their breath weapon reflects this. They often live in the hearts of volcanoes, or in other hot places. Male golds have been clutched. Gold Fyre - a beam of golden light that burns through things like a laser.
Orange Female and Male Men and Women The jokers of the breed, orange dragons just want to have fun. They tend to act as jesters.. or even participate as actors. They are fun-loving, nontraditionalist type dragons, which also means that they don't live in traditional caves. They far prefer theaters and any kind of stage. Orange Fyre - a curious breath weapon. Multiple rings spray from the dragon's mouth, each of the orange rings causing much damage to living and non-living things.
Purple Male and Female Men and Women Purple dragons have a habit of being tender, quiet things; their homes tend to be in soft, quiet places.. especially near the sea.. Purple Fyre - a mist of salty, purpleness. It causes those that inhale it to be confused.
Red Male and Female Men and Women Red dragons are fierce warriors, but often set firmly on the old ways of their predecessors, the Naqunaperna ( The Ancients ). These are the hardest type for a DragonMaster to be Chosen by, due to their single-minded nature. Their homes are on battlegrounds, in blacksmith shops, and other hot or war-based places. Red Fyre - a relatively normal blast of red-colored fire.. but, they say, nothing, not even a Fyre Elemental, can survive it.
Silver Male and Female Men and Women Silver dragons are wise beyond their years; capable of remembering any event within dragon history on Mythicalae.. sometimes beyond. They enjoy scholars and mages, learning powerful majycks over their lifespans. Often, silvers take residence in towns, usually in towers or in vast libraries. Silver Fyre - a rippling tide of stars that emit from the dragons mouth and enfulf his/her enemy. No one has yet survived this awesomely powerful attack.
White/White-Gold Male or Female Men and Women Tends to be highly intelligent and very clever. They enjoy taking smaller forms than most dragons so they can ride on their rider's shoulder every once in a while. They enjoy drifting on the clouds, preferring to live as high in the sky as they possibly can. No female whites, nor any male white-golds have been clutched. Whyte Fyre - a cone of ice so cold, it burns the flesh. White-Golds have a variant of Whyte Fyre that is a laser of white and gold light that freezes and burns simultaneously.
