I don't mind if you ask for a specific dragon--honestly, it means you'll be more likely to actually get it! I just ask that you put in several choices, so I can fall back on them if the first is taken!

Honestly, I had had my eye on the black and bronzey/gold-tipped one. It just looked so interesting...but if people are arguing over it, I'd rather a different dragon than cause any hard feelings. I know they're 'Lakota colors' and all.

*shrug* Most cases, I'm interested in abilities and personalities over colors anyway. ^^ And...someone I had in mind to send, one of Ignatius' sponsors is a Rufasilex and was trying to figure out if they were very closely related... *shifty eyes* XD

Edit: Come to think of it, depending on your intentions for the Black branch... he's half-pernese half-Aven fire, a Blue... but the fiery blue/black-ness seems intriguing to me >>

They're Unrelated, as far as I know. The BWR dragons have some Selamputo and Oranato blood in them, but no Rufasilex blood. ^^;

I dunno why Quotes aren't working right, but anyway:

Normally I stay out of other peoples' business, but this time, I have to say, why would it always be Dray's responsibility to tell all of us whether we've paged dragons or not? Isn't that OUR responsibility once we've adopted them? And to doublecheck links and whatnot?

And, incidentally, on page two of this thread, Dray HAS a big long list of who is missing dragons and who asked for extensions, etc., so in effect, she DID tell us who was missing what :/ She's likely way too busy to PM everyone with reminders...

Gee, sorry if I felt bad for forgetting about it, Lakota. Thanks for putting my mood in a worse mode so I feel worse about forgetting. Sorry if I need to be reminded when my life gets hectic. Now that you have me in a royaly pissed off mood, I probably won't get anything done that I planned - not that I feel like half my eforts for clutches and such are every really appreciated until I start threatening to close or to end something that's been going on for so long. The Shimmer Frenzy is on the verge of closing because I can't get anyone for it and I've had no applications for the All-Earth 2.

Why the hell do I bother when all attention goes to Dray and Phe and all those other people? Nothing against them or there efforts but I feel left out. I'm off to go between how many dragons from the first AEC - like I enjoy watching all my efforts to run the clutch and everything go to waste.

Perhaps you should have let Dray handle this because coming from her I would have been able to take it differently instead of someone on the side lines coming in to make things worse.

A thought had occurred to me while writing that post that, should I send in my sponsor to breed, for the Black branch... that furry, fiery, blue-black babies would start popping up, possibly... Twas a thought. ^^

@Mystic: ^_^ Wooh, stats page! You'll be more likely to nab Royanet if you write a story, since the parents of the clutch only get a reserve space, they can't dibs a certain dragonet, but if nobody else with a story requests her first, you should be fine.

@Yakima: Woah, calm down, girl! Are you having a rough day? Firstly, I had given multiple warnings that people had missing dragons, like Lakota said. You can find most of them around here:

You may have been busy at the time, but I did give over two weeks to get those dragons up.
That said, nobody's been picking at the abandoned's page for a long time now, so if you can get Yusepth up by Saturday night, then I'll be more then happy to get her back to you! (The less dragons on my abandoneds page, the better!) All I need is the page where her image is, if you don't have time to write a story, though further story-ness is always a big plus. You'll need to create a new bond for her, since I really don't feel that it's my responsibility to write another one up for you.
No need to get upset, now, right?

(And as for the All Earth II, I don't have any pernese dragons, which is why I haven't sent anyone in. And shimmery dragons don't really suit my fancy, or I'd have sent in candidates already. o.o' Nothing personal at all!)

@'Shai: Could you link me to him, again? There's a difference between blue-ish toned black and a blue that is just dark... >_>" The difference might make him not-quite-right for the black stream, since then I'd just get a bunch of blues instead of true-blacks! XD

Thanks Dray. I did go find that list and noticed it was January that you posted it - made me feel really bad knowing it's been that long. I'm really sorry about that. Don't worry about the bond - i have a list of characters I need to get out. I think I'll use one of my Reririan people this time as I haven't used any of them save Jeshwin...I'll go pick someone out for her right now. Information available per chance?

And I haven't had a 'bad day' persay, just been rather fragile emotionally.

As for the shimmer frenzy, because it's done with genetics not all the hatchlings are going to be shimmers. I know I've mentioned that somewhere before just not sure where. The Pern genetics have a higher percent of hatching and being shimmers - it's the other mixes that are going to have a less likly chance of hatching or being shimmer because the FGPC genetisist haven't 'played' with those gene types yet. So the name is a bit deciving. If you don't want a shimmer dragon, that is perfectly fine! As long as I can hatch the darn thing this summer after being up there for a year I'll be happy! I'm also pondering sending some of my own dragons to clutch for the second one or poking active peoples with dragons that hatched from the first one if they want to participate. *shrug*

Anyway, *hugs dray* sorry for the outburst on your thread. I'll go get her on a page at least, with or without stats.

Aw, Shai', I don't mind the fact that he's part Pernese at all... it's just he's super-blue! If there was a black sibling of that clutch, I'd take them in a heart-beat!

(And for Shiolar, even though you may or may not be reading this post: according to JKat, Piralins' fur goes from red to orange to yellow because they've got some kind of red gene and some kind of yellow gene! The orange is just cause by their intermixing! So, I figure, at least, if they're not red, then that intermixing-colour is going to be a mix of whatever their main body-colour is and yellow! :D Too much fun!)

All the info about Yusepth that there is, Yakima, is up on that abandoned page. Other then that, there's not much that I can say! Do you still have that Avyndal/Spirit dragon in on the Shimmer frenzy? >.> I might be interested in trying for one of those, if there is one.

Yep, I am reading this thread... didn't know that about the Piralan gradient-fur-gene-ness. It shall be reflected in Gen01C, which is half Piralan... And on the subject of Rufasilex babies, there was a black dragon from the Allorath Rufasilex x Bokuhi Usadah clutch... He went to DF's character, if I remember correctly.

I do have a white Pernese/Rufasilex I could send in... And there's a handful of very reddish bronzes floating around, although I can't remember offhand who actually has them. I have several other dragons I could send in for you... I'll go through my inhabitants page and toss a couple your way, if you like?

In the mean time... time for me to do some updating myself... Hadisha will be up shortly... Actually, chances are I'll have updated this post with the link before you actually see said post, but... *shrugs*

If you want to send anyone in, please feel free to! I may not add them to the lists immediately, but they'll definitely be putzing around in my records for when I'm looking for something different! (The page list is more an immediate and could-be-immediate selection of dragons... but if this goes on for long enough then I'll definitely be searching back through the older records. >:D)

I was wondering, to everyone who's interested, would you mind if, for clutches that are egg-bound, I throw up an image of an egg, and allow you to judge which dragonet you'd like best from text alone? It would be much more in-character then to display the dragonet. I'd still make dragonet images--you'd just recieve them upon hatching, instead of getting a preview of them beforehand. I'd still keep hatchling images up for liveborn litters, though!

And I'm okay with having egg pictures instead of dragonet images. But then, my choices have been based on personality than appearance anyway... For the most part, anyway. I sorta just fell in love with Coronataith's image and then created a character to match. But yeah...

Icecat, since you got in after the clutch filled, would you mind if I bumped your character to the next clutch? Your story doesn't seem to have anything to do with this clutch anyways, so it shouldn't be too much of a problem to move Retriel!

I'll try to have this out by the end of the long-weekend, but since I'm working my behind off on finals (D: 20 nearly-identical paintings of landscapes! Noooooooo!) I may or may not be a bit late.

(And if anybody wants to send in any dragons to chase/fly/mate that fit the criteria, any that I use /are/ guaranteed a reserve space! Right now, for the blacks, I'm slowly swerving in to weird-country--that is, hydras and claw tongues and chaotics and the like, so any dragons that are black and a little odd are more likely to get in, though I'm addicted to fluff and tough-stuff, so I'll take any dragons like those, too! For the whites, I'm mostly looking for Avengaean Askan Asandae (AAA! XD) or anything that's white that has Asandus blood in it. I'll be more likely to use those if they're sent in. For reds... wingless, right now. X3 Or soon to be, anyways. Anything red and wingless is very likely to get used, but other then that, it's fairly open. I'll still take whatever I can get my grubby paws on, but that's what's coming up next!)
