Sorry it took me so long to get this pickup out.. and sorry there's no hatchling story again, but I've been feeling really sick lately and didn't feel like typing very much. x.x;; But yeah, here's the pickup! *salute!* ^.~;

Um.. also.. <.<.. I'm a madwoman sketcher, so these clutches are happening really fast on paper, but I'm holding back flight and hatching dates to give people time to make candidates. Should I keep at the pace I've been sending them out at, and keep requiring some sort of storybit? Or should I require less (like a stat page) and give them out faster? *really wants to send 'em out quicker* ^.^;;; As it is, I've already got Miridath's hatchlings -and- adults inked (and the hatchlings colored), and Elianka's hatchling and adult pics drawn (tho not inked yet). And I'm going insane because I don't have anything to draw any more. XD;; I'm considering doing in-between clutches for couples that won't require a competitive flight, but that doesn't solve my "backlog of needing candidates" problem. ^.^;;;

Any suggestions?

You could do stuff for the breedables database and adopt them out giveaway style.

If you take a look through here:

you might find some pairs or singles that you can pair up, and draw them however you like and however many! XD Or, you could draw up some of your /own/ dragons to /submit/ to the database for other people to draw! :P S'a good time-spender. ^_^

That's a really good idea.. I hadn't actually looked into the breedables database before yesterday. ^.^;;; So if I do that, I can hand out the hatchlings giveaway style? Coolness. X3 That's the real problem.. I just wanna go too fast to have to wait for candis/chasers. *sheepish* *dances off to peruse database* <3!

Though... I think some of the people who submit the dragons like to have a say in what happens to the dragonets that the artist draws. >.> Usually you just have to leave a message in the Ideas section, that breedables database chatter thread, to let people know that you want to draw them, and to ask if you can give them out, if you're not going to hand 'em over to the owners to do it. ^^;

The ones that Duban sires should be, but I'm afraid Illusyd's spawn might not be large enough. ^.^;; Unless the rider is three feet tall or somethin'.. XD; And thanks! <3 *hopes there are more applicants in the next few days..*

Well, I prefer stories, but stats work alright as long as there's some sort of indication of the candi's personality so I can match 'em up with the right hatchling. ^.^; *just struggling to get at least four applicants for this clutch*

*shrug* I shouldn't think so.. as long as they're not, like, a toddler.. ^.^; Also, I think they can be pretty young as long as there's someone older that can take care of both bond and dragon until they grow up a bit.

Of course, if Dray disagrees, since her dragon is the mother, she can veto the age thing.. *peers at her curiously*

:3 Uny, if you need a second applicant, Muriptidae Filidechiroptidae would be glad to take someone home too. And I think I could get you a brief story if you let me PM it to you or such, and then put it up linked to their page later! It's the making a new page and putting it up that takes the longest, if you don't mind short stories. ^^

Gahd, no kidding. XD I have an FTP program that quits out on me after about two minutes of idleness, so I have to upload everything at once or it decides it's done and quits. It's such a pain. 9.9
