Ah, I've been meaning to ask that...2-3 years? Hmm...I'd have to come up with a reason for Troe to be sent back to Star City then...but that might be doable... >.> Would have a /lot/ of writing to do to get there though... XD

I figure that maybe Pola' could have sent out letters to her siblings, a sort of "nya ha, I had brats first! (PS: come see them and take them off my hands!)" note... but less straight-forward?

Okay, this is a dumb question and I'm sure it's answered somewhere in the thread, but.. are we allowed to send in more than one candidate per clutch? I've got the candidate-making bug now.. >_>

XD Yes, Sky. *points up* You can only send in a second candidate after the 17th, just in case there's a last-moment spill of candi's from other people. After that, anyone who has submitted one character can submit a second (story, stats-page, or giveaway-type, it doesn't matter) until the 19th. At that point I'll go through and match everyone up, and there will probably end up being some characters who get two dragonets instead of one, if they're lucky and there's not a lot more candidates coming in. ^^;

DF, you've got until Sunday to send 'em in, dun worry! Be happy! *sings* XD

Electronic Arts Canada - apparently they've been going through some 'difficulties' lately and let about 80% of the testers go today. In the meantime they're buying nice new tanning beds to put in the nice new building.. mmm, priorities ^__^

I've already got some story up for Troe and Sav about going back to Star City to visit Pola and her kids...and by the end of the day I'll likely have more!

Yeah, you beat me to it, Xalia! XD I was going to mention that this morning, but I was running late for a lecture I wanted to attend.

Applications are open for a second character to the BWR GEN10 clutch, if you'd like to send another in. Since there are 16 dragonets that are available to anyone, and I have 8 applicants right now, I can take 8 more (and one spot is still reserved for JKatkina, since I used her dragon as the father for this clutch. :3) before the clutch is full. If those eight come in right away I'll let people know; otherwise, I'm leaving the clutch open until the 19th (this Sunday!), and will probably send out the pickup page (with adults AND hatchlings on the same page) for you sometime later this Sunday evening.

So! Get those stories, stats pages, or suggestions in before Sunday evening and you'll get a dragon (or two!)

Also: A note to those of you who haven't linked me to your GEN9 dragons (PhantomDragon--who I know is new and may or may not read this, so I'll be emailing her seperately--Starburst, Icecat, JKatkina and Samber), please have your dragons up by Sunday the 19th as well! If you need an extension, I'll give you another two days, but you have to let me know right away! If you need the link to the pickup page again, it's here:

About the job thing, I posted a longer explaination about the situation in my LJ.. it sucks, and I'm rather pissed, but life will go on! ..hopefully. If I can find a new job to pay the rent with >_>;

Hey Dray? Do the kits/pups/babies decide on the spot if they're going and head off when they meet the right person or does the sponsor have to come back to pick them up later? I probably should have asked that before I wrote Sav's story, but thought I'd ask so I could get it right this time!

Xalia, I think I'm a little unclear as to your question! If you mean, do the dragonets decide on the location in the Nexus they want to be, as opposed to what caretaker they want to go with... then the dragonets choose a caretaker, once the caretaker has visited. Most of them couldn't care less as to where they end up, so long as they're around someone they like! (Granted, there're probably some that are more interested in a certain part of the Nexus that they may have heard of... X3 But for the most part, they're like little kids!)

:O DF, as of this moment, there's still one spot left (though I can't guarantee it'll be there for much longer!) if you want to send someone in, you can go back to that character-suggestion application again!

Ah, I see now! Nope, the dragonets don't leave right away. They usually have a while to talk with other potential sponsors, and then they decide after they've had a week or two to meet everyone they're interested in.

I wanted to try a stats sheet since the blue one required it but I won't finish in time if there's only one spot left. ~Sigh~ Never mind. It was a stupid character idea anyway.

How do the sponsors know to come back? Or are they told a specific time to come back so the kits can make their decision?

Definitely a specific time. It's like having a hatching-date, only that's the date that the kits choose their sponsors. ^_^

Sorry, DF. o.o' Maybe next time? :3 (Then again, I saw that you managed to get an application in on time, so woot!)

Just to let everyone know, the applications are closed! I'm just waiting on JKatkina to get her reserve in, and then I can match dragonets up with people and send it out! :D
