Life’s been plotting against me lately. Work has been crazy. My mom was in the hospital early this year. She had a massive diabetes attack (we didn’t even know she had diabetes). Her blood sugar was 1,300 (it’s suppose to be 100 or so) and we almost lost her. Then she got two blood clots in her arm from the pick line IV thing they put in. Then she finally got home and had to go back in three days later after her temperature spiked to 103 in two hours. They kept her for five more days with a massive blood infection.

It wouldn’t have been so bad, but my dad and I are self-employed. There’s just the two of us, so with him staying at the hospital and me making trips back and forth (we live 30 minutes form town) we got nothing done the whole month. Customers have been calling, some patient, some not so.
And in April we have a Family Reunion/vacation in California. With everything that’s going on up here we probably wouldn’t go, but my grandfather just found out last month that he has cancer and my dad thinks it’s important that we go.
Sooo we have to get all our work done (or at least caught up) before we leave.
I’ve been trying to build my first house, but that’s been put on the back burner for a while *sigh*

So long story short, this year has been one long Monday for me. So if I disappear for a while, I will be back, but my after work and helping mom with the housework (she gets tired so quickly), my brain cells simply don’t want to handle anything else.
I’ll try to keep up with hatchlings, etc. But if I’m not as quick as normal, that’s why.

x_______x Oh man, Morel, that's a lot to have to deal with. *hugs* Don't worry about the Nexus... you know it'll always be around if/when you decide you have enough time and inspiration to come back to it. ^^; We'll miss you, but we'll always be around to welcome you back with open arms.

I hope that you manage to get all caught up again and that your mom begins to feel better. :\ That sounds like a lot of pain to go through.

Anyone remember me?

I've been MIA for quite a while now, but I hope to be keeping up on things again (or at least trying to).

I feel like a dog with six tail trying to chase all of them at once *twitch, twitch, falls over* I've been trying to build my apartment off the back of the shop. That's been long and dificult. And still trying to keep up with work, etc. etc.
At the moment we have everything as ready as we can, so we wait for the sheet rockers to come. The lull before the next storm.

Anyway, I'm afraid I have no idea if I'm late with any updates. Sorry if I've missed anyone

I'll try to fix/catch up as many as I can.
