I'm finally here, but...

So, I've been trying to get on for a while, but the site didn't like me. Reading through the posts on the y!group about similar problems I discovered that all I needed to do was plug right into my modem instead of going through my router.

I did so, and it worked, so I then tried to access through the router again. It didn't like that idea so much. So, for right now anyway, the only way I can access the board is when I plug right into the modem. But as the modem sits beside the family computer, this is a real hassel when I'm using my computer upstairs.

So, the short of the long is, while I can check this board (and will try to do so as much as I can) it won't be any more frequent than twice a week, and probably more like once every week or two.

Now, for the actual point of this post: Do you guys still post updates on the y!group or is it all here? Because I've noticed a distinct drop in the number of e-mails I'm getting and I was wondering if this was because we're all bogged down with school, because all the chatting had been moved here or if people just didn't use the board anymore.

Generally, people end up announcing things here, though I know when I re-open a dragonry I'll have an email list for my dragonry and also send updates out on the Y!Group. =)

Call technical support for your router! They'll tell you how to change the settings so you can get here again. I had to do that recently when my router decided it didn't like this site again... I wonder what it is about this site that the routers don't like... >.>
