I've a question... dragons with "Empathy only"... Obviously they can't tell anyone their names. Are their parents sharing that information?

I'm sure they'd combine nicely with the plant dragons Trix was doing
or even hybridized with an Avengaean Earth (something about mushrooms and spores jumped into my head and I thought of the Earth dragons)
or maybe even a Selampotato (keep the food/plant dragons together)

...but I'm not really interested in having a fungus-hybrid dragon. Sorry.

I realize Shittakeneki is a lighthearted fun idea, really I do. I'm not trying to squash the fun. I just think this isn't the best lineage to breed the mushroom-dragon into.

(Ok, now I sound like a hide-bound old geezer...)

What -I- should do is go digging around the back parts of Ryslen and see if I have any dragons that qualify and would give strength to Dray's BWR campaign...

*laughs!* XD No worries, Lakota, I understand wanting things spelled properly. No offense taken.

I'd probably have not ended up taking the mushroomy dragon anyhow--though something light-hearted and all that would be kind of fun... maybe just not with these guys, like Ty said. Or, heck, maybe after I've had a good run of trying to make 'pretty' dragons I could run with that! (Goodness knows that I have such a variety that I could make some /really/ messed-up types in only a few gens. XD Thanks, you guys, for sending them all in!)

And... a preview. >.>" But applications won't be up for a couple of days, since I need some time to put together stats and the like. Ohmigosh, an almost-kind-of-actual clutch! :O

Dragons with the flashy eyes (Some flash faster then others. XDD) will go to written candidates, if there's enough of them. Dragons with more flashy patterns will go to stats-page candidates, but they won't likely get the eye-glowy animated ones. Giveaway-type dragons--those without flashy eyes or very flashy patterns will go to those who only submit a name-and-species form.

And... yep, I don't think I have anything else to add.

Gryvverns, yay! Long limbs, yay! *hopes that Sera' will send in another sometime--hinthintnudgenudge* XD

^_^ You don't have to write a big story for it, if you don't have time for it. There'll be that section for giveaways to enter... and I've got more in this batch than the last few (not saying how many, just in case I have/want to make some more! XD) so I hope to let everyone get in on it somehow!

If you wan to write one, yep. ^_^' There are about... *counts* 6 glowy-eyed dragons (The bronze one's eyes flash seizureifically! XD) on me at the moment, but I don't believe I'll get 6 written candidates for 'em, with the other options available... so you could write one up, thereby over-writing your previous application, yes! Mystic, since you submitted and got bumped into the other clutch, you have that option, as well!

I'm guessing that there'll be only a couple of written candidates, so stats pages may just get you a flasher (lol) if you're lucky, too. And, in the unlikely event that I get more then six written candidates, I can always make more animated dragons. ^_^

Once I set up the current-clutch page, I'll put up a deadline (about two weeks, probably) for the clutch and move on to the next gen, since I already have that sketched out. Completely wonky timeline? Of course! It's the Nexus! XD

To Star City, for sure, and I'm thinking of saying that it's being held in one of the bigger hatching bays, like the old clutches were, even though it's more private then the others--by that I mean, it's not going to be publicly announced, but I'll have Trahm-aisi hijack one of the bays for Mahu-ike, since he doesn't have an apartment big enough to keep in all of the little rascals.

I'll have a bit more info written up for people once I get my stuff together, so they'll have more to go by if they want to write story-blurbs for their candidates! Once I get it all posted there'll also be a 2-week delay for everyone to write, or ask for a giveaway, or whatever it is they'd like to do, and only then will I be pairing up the offspring with care-takers. So... you ought to have plenty of time. ^_^'
