Lovely, lovely behbies, Xalia. Orana is beautiful. ^^

But, um, I gotta say... are you aware that "Estrus" is a word? And one with a meaning that doesn't exactly lend itself well to a name? Especially a male's? ^^*

Yes, I am aware...the name came about because the clutch originally had 6 babies and I decided to add an extra just because...estrus sounded a little like extra so I went with that...and yes, whoever claimed him (can't remember off the top of my head) is free to use that name to affect his personality or just torture him all his life! Remember, the scientist running these clutches is a male who has spent most of his life removed from all society...and the mother of this clutch grew up in his company, so I doubt she knew what she was naming her poor son....heh...

Heh, hey, all I knew was that it's a word I don't consider common in most people's vocabulary, and a friend agreed with me, so my conscience compelled me to ask. I'd certainly want someone to tell me if I inadvertantly used an odd-meaning world like that as a dragon's name! XD That's all.

I had to go and check 'estrus' with dictionary.com. It's spelt oestrus over here (because British English just isn't complete without a load of letters that aren't really needed), so even though it's in my vocabulary, I wouldn't have thought much of it with that spelling, other than wondering if Xalia pronounces it in the same way... It is pretty funny though; I rather envy the person that gets to torment that poor dragon because of his name.

I'm so up for it if you do a clutch full of weirdly named dragons though, Dray... Because I'm rather of the mindset that characters just need to be tormented whenever the opportunity arises... One day, I so want to hatch a dragon named Bob...

I WISH i could send Saedra but several fictional characters would have me murdered if I did that, so best stay out of it

Also for the clutch size i sort of guessed for a lot of them, as for some of them it's been so long that I can't remember!
