FGPC Updates - Shimmer Frenzy Deadline

Anyone else planning on sending candidates to Kujachyuth's clutch at the FGPC? If not, I'll hatch it.

I'll certainly send a couple your way - I'd love to have more of your dragons. A question about the clutch: is it one of the kind where you choose the color of the dragon, or will they be colors appropriate to the parents' colors, assigned by merit? Shall write up a few either way, I'm just thinking about who I want to send. I have a couple riders, see, who I made as filler characters with named dragons, general colors assigned, and it'd be really kind of cool to send them in as bonders, so they'd actually have dragons, but... if that's too confusing, or it doesn't work for you, I'll send someone else. ^.^

Yeah, that is confusing. I have the clutch determined but I can switch it around color wise. The colors hatching from this clutch are from two genetically altered parents so rares are high in number but not really high on the chart (meaning nothing really rare). The solid colors (silver to white), sky colors (like sunset, twilight, ect) are all that's really hatching as well as the typical Pern colors (gold-green).

If you can clarify the already having a dragon part of those characters they're welcome but they can't be bonded to a dragon for the FGPC. If you're asking me to match those dragons you've already created for them I'm sure I can if the color's arn't to high for what's hatching in this clutch.

*nod* I know, I didn't explain that very well. I don't mean that they have a dragon and would be trying for a second... I'd be sending them as normal, bondless candidates, but with a name and color already in mind, if that makes more sense.

Bronze and green (although I'm not sure about the green) were the colors I had in mind - those would worK?

I have a couple I'm working on. Their stories proably won't be too terribly long but they will have stories that I still have to finish ... if you want to hatch the clutch then go ahead, but I'll try and finish them on time. Their names are Soren and Kari, and they're a married couple. Huzzah. So I'll probably only send one to the current clutch, and the other to the shimmer frenzy, or somewhere else entirely, so their dragons can mate. I'm thinking Soren for the FGPC clutch and Kari for shimmer but we'll see.

You still want to send someone in, StarFyre? I still have to ink and color the new images and since I'm reluctant to do so (I'm paranoid I'll ruin them). If you don't want to I'll start sorting out info and writting story and eventually get brave enough to stop worring about if I like the new images. *shrinks and vanishes*

As of today I've closed Kujachyth's clutch and will start the haching process (yes, it is a process even if it's already half done...*facepalm*). I have the new images inked, scanned and sized down and will start shading/coloring them. [Yakima finally got brave enough to do take a pen to them...*faints*]

If you really, really want to send someone in - get them to me ASAP! If I don't have a form in my box by tomarrow night you'll have missed your chance at this clutch. I need to get it hatched! (Mostly so I can show off the new images...and I hope these are more perment!)

*flops over onto bed* I love having my computer in my room! *pushes Segs off the bed and onto the floor where she belongs...hee*

Wow.. I am so terrible at reading/getting things done... *facepalm* Erg.. Yakima, do you have any real restrictions on race of what's sent to the FGPC? Or, well.. anything against magic? Most of what I've been working on are human-like beings with magic...

The FGPC, no. Just keep the amount to a minimum because this is still Pern and even if Falas may just as well be the last traditional Weyr out there (besides Tynarea...if she's still around and Dragonhope), I want to keep candidates relativly [Pernese]-normal. But yes, the FGPC does allow 'stranger' candidates.

Just no vampires or weirder...

*nods* The previous images were too realistic for me! Since opening Treval I've found I like this style (not only in the coloring/outline but drawing) much better. Also, I think it changes Falas' look toward the Nexus with these images for some reason. (Then again, when I was redrawing them I was looking at the Pernese dragons hatched out of SC as I liked the 'cuteness' in them.

Obviously kept some things I liked from the old ones besides the pose...I love the neck ridges in Whalen's dragons...at least the one of Ruth on the cover of the White Dragon...

I'll shut up now...*runs off...again*

I am so sorry for taking so very long to get Isildoth up; school has more or less eaten all my free time alive. Have been trying to rescue my poor neglected dragons from the void during today's unexpected snowday, and I realized... I don't have Isildoth's hatchling image on this computer. No idea what happened there, given that my other files seem to have transfered without issue, but if you would happen to have it on your computer still, I would be eternally grateful.
