and the owl originally stems from the same owl, but without the teeth, saying ORLY (oh really in netspeak, i assume) with an incredulous look on its face. it's been photoshoped since to say things like "buttsecks?" (sad but true). Im not sure where it came from originally but I think it started on fark.com
