Reindeer Dragons...

Post by Midori »

Okay since everyone seems to really like these guys I was wondering if anyone would be intrested in setting up a clutch of these cuties with me. I admit I suck at the drawing/coloring of images but I think it'd be very cool to have a flight or something like a flurry of these guys and have people set up candidates for them. Since everyone that does have them seems to love them and almost anyone that doesn't wants one.

Soooo anyone else thinks this is a good idea? Well first we need shards okay if it okay... since she drew the first.

XD Also, Samber drew the newest batch of Reinydrags, so we should ask her too :3

But, if you're looking for help drawing the images/coloring once/if a flight or frenzy gets rolling, I'd be happy to help. ::Needs practice at shading and texturizing...::

...Now I want people to submit their reindeer dragons to my Schattarneki flights, demmit XD XD they ARE gorgeous.

Yes that's a good ponit Samber did draw the latest but Shard started it I'm pretty sure since I've got one of the first guys.

I'm glad people are liking this idea! ^.^

Yes they are wonderful lovely little critters. (I always pictured them a little males a bit bigger then an avarage sized draft horse.) That need to happen far more often then once a year!

Yeah I think between any of the currently available reindeer dragons we do need a clutch. I was going to do one but I just never got around to it (because I was changing jobs in Feb remember? :P ) but yeah I totally agree. I don't have any but this one I just got here, so sharing the reindeery joy would be nice! :D

And for the record reindeer as a real world species are *very* small, actually. Certain ones I've seen (like at the zoo every few months) are about 3-4 feet at the shoulder, the ones in the enclosure and not in the show are about 5 feet at most. They're still very broad animals - especially for deer which are usually pretty upright, and so cute, very furry. :D

I would love to get my paws on a second-gen reindeer dragon, but Shard's right about the size... and it sounds like the ones she's done are a bit bigger. Might be an issue.

(I know they're only about 4 feet at the shoulder... I made the ones I drew to be that size on purpose. :) )

Yeah I did purposefully make that one smaller than the others. There are also one or two others sent out as bday gifties, too, I'm positive at least one or more of those were smaller (and/or larger i think they varied) than typical.

But they're *MAGIC* anyway! :) They're obviously 'related breeds' so size shouldn't matter, RIGHT??! lol!

Speaking of 'related breeds', I got a stuffed elephant for Christmas that looks suspiciously like a Selampotato...

'Tis purple.
