Alas, no. I have to pay rent today and I am waiting for the much needed next paycheck (tomorrow, in fact) before I can afford that $250 PSP my boyfriend's always wanted. In short, I'm flat broke XD

Absolutely true. I'm behind for the 2nd month on many bills - bad. I really am hoping our boss gets us our bonus checks before the holidays but since we only get paid on the 15th and the end of the month that really means none of my friends is gonna get squat this year from me...

hehe well technically they can mean "how on earth" by how on the earth, meaning, the soil. Earth is the only planet named after its dirt. You wouldn't find yourself digging in the Mars, would you?
