Winged Wolf Frenzy - 115 wolves have escaped! EEKK!

So, apparently people wouldn't mind a give away for the wolves again. But as I mentioned elsewhere, I have very few that were reported back to me after that giveaway which is why this time, it's different. It's a Frenzy! If dragons can do it (no pun intended), then wolves sure can! And it's being hosted at the Alair WolfKeep as an opening celebration! Until I have all the pages set up, I'm starting it here. It will probably go through here unless I get my butt in gear. I started some sketch/idea poses today so that's a start. Once I get them drawn and inked, I'll be giving away my current set for someone who wants it as well as the one before that...if I can find it.

So, being this is technically a frezny...here is what I need from all of you wolf-owners! Wolves, obvioulsy! *Segs smacks her* If you have a wolf that would be up to this they are welcome to come visit the WolfKeep (beware of construction crews!), to find a mate. I don't want a lot and if I get to many I will call an immedate cut off. If you want more pup (up to six each dam), then send in more. Males may be able to choose more then one mate if both dams agree. (this is where personality come in because wolves 'mate for life'...or can). I'll be throwing in a few that I think would participate from Treval. Maybe even a certian couple from the cyber-version of Rerir...urg...what a mess that would be iff...*Segs growls* Erm...nevermind. If you have a mated pair they can participate, too. This is held in the winter - the pups will be born in spring.

Your wolf needs to be on a page, dosn't have to be bonded or anything, and dosn't have to belong to a pack. (Segs: Talk about a trip from the ordinary! HEEE! *twirls around in glee*) Any of your wolves are welcome and rather then me choosing you can to choose for your female(s). If you do want me to choose, I will but I would rather you choose as you know your wolves best. You can talk to the male's owner, too, if you want to. Why this way? Because I don't think the wolves would be as lose ended as the dragons in a frenzy. They choose there mate first, unlike a frenzy, and spend the next few weeks together. I'm basing this from natural insticts, too.

DEADLINE for candidates, sponsers and caretakers is Febuary 23rd, my 21st Bday. Any wolf that is left over I will keep or put up in the abandon thingy-place. I was thinking of an RP for the choosing - or everyone with a wolf entered talks about who there wolves would like. If we RP it, I could turn it into a story easily. I really don't want to pair up a wolf with someone they actually don't like. Or I could put them together and you tell me if they would disagree. They actually have to like each other and vie for the right for the mate. Even if they are not competing for alpha-ship or anything, I'm sure they would bicker - females wanting the same male, males getting fought over or vise versa; some agreeing to share a male. That sort of thing...It's up to you. I have enough to start and since I need to wait for candidates/sponsers to come in before I finish the drawings, I'm not going to really push it.

A star refers to a pair that will not take anouther mate. I added a few wolves from Falas and the FGPC but I haven't gotten to the packs in the Dragonry yet. If you want to RP, I'm sure Xalia wouldn't mind if I steal a room in the Nexus Chat for a night or two! Or we can open an RP in the forum...I think the forum might be a bit easier...*shrugs*

I would, however, love to send someone to take care of a pretty offspring (it takes great perseverence not to say "bond", lol)

Yes, Astra. Anyone can send some candidates in but for the Frenzy, only people with Keeps/Forests/ect will be able to bring them home in sponsered groups. Caretakers can be sent in for one and those opening places can send in candidates, too.

They bond in there own way. It's nothing like a Pernese dragon but they befriend and love the person they're with. Telepathic wolves probably have more of the mental-bond going on but not as drastic as some of us are use to. You can call them bonds but it's only a word to fill in a space I don't know whatelse to use! LOL!

Okay, the sign up is closed! I've run threw and tried to judge good pairings for all of them since no one actually addressed the situation. I want to make sure those of you who know your wolves better then I agree to the pairings. Sorry to Rulkin and Eaaril - I didn't have enough females to have them running around to all the girls! Jalepp is a bit upset at me but *shrugs* I added two more males and three females from my other pack in Treval Dragonry (kids of the alphas) as well as Falasial, the female at the FGPC. If you have a preferance (female owners) as to the number of pups, please post it or I'll decide!

Reyin MysticFire is the son of Rurio and Nijeyy, two of my wolf riders who bonded at Lantessama. Rurio is a shape-shifer but Reyin's power is Demonic Fire...

Also, I did some prelim on this and ended up with about 70 wolves in total. Think that will be enough or are you hoping for more to grab? I was predicting around 80 or 90 so if you want more I can throw in a few more females - and repopen apps. *shrugs* Up to you people,

how are the keep/forest sponserships going to work? is each place going to get a specific number of pups, and then the rest are up for others to adopt? or are you doing it some other way?

It's open ended and I'm going to limit how many people get. If you send someones to sponser they will come and the pups that they convince to come with them will go. You can also send in traditioal candidates to find a wolf companion to bond. Sponsers are probably going to be limited to five per place this round - being the opening and foundation round.

So is 70 pups gonna be enough for you or do you want a few more?

Would anyone mind if I skip the pup images? I redid litter sizes and came to 95 pups!

Again, anyone is allowed to send someone but it is being run for those that don't have any wolves or need a handful to start there own Keep/Forest/Lair/whatever. They're allowed mass sponsering. Caretakers can have up to three - that's not in the rules 'cause I forgot it - and candidates are allowed one.

As the title now implies - Ready. Set. GO!
