Back in the Day...When I did Dolling Stuff...

I made this for the site but never did use it. I still love it and wish I could get her to lean against something...

BTW, it was from this doll that I learned to shade the manes the way I do...Can't remember the name of the place I found the tutorial, though...*blinks* The base is from there, where ever it is.

...That's kinda creepy. Today I drew my first doll, in, like, three years. No, wait. I did one a couple months ago, but still. Wierd.

She's pretty. And velvet. Velvet is hard. I like the folds. Very nice, believable folds. And sparkles. I like non-animated sparkles.

...yeah. Not making sense today.

Ooh - she'd get a gold, if you sent her to the You Walk Into a Weyr clutch. I still need folks for that.

I do some dolling stuff myself, but ... I am not worthy. *bow*

although REAL dollists shade in paint *sticks tongue out*
(I'm just kidding of course but it's a running argument in the dolling community that artists who pixel shade in paint are better than those who use photoshop ... well, I use a mouse instead of a tablet, does that make me better?

)

Anyway, that's absolutely stunning either way. *steals talent and runs away*

I think that's only because the people who use paint pixel shade MORE then those who use something with more features.

Oh, and I want to give you sombody for the "Walk into a Weyr" cluch! Just- gimmie a week or two.

*chuckles* I did her in PSP, though, not paint. I don't have the pacients for pixel-art at all! And velvet? *blinks* Well, I wasn't going for velvet but hey, whatever suites your eyes, I guess! LOL My old dolling site is still up actually if you want to go see the other ones I did a few years ago: WolfMage Hall.

I might send her Shard - that is, if I can figure out what to have her leaning on...*blinks*

Have her leaning on... an invisible unicorn, yes? That follows her everywhere, and no one else believes in him, but really, he is there, and he can fly, and breath fire like a dragon and--
