These are gorgeous! I didn't really thing it'd come out so literally gem-like! I usually use the gem-terms to impress intensity of color.

Heh - the psp gradient I have for opal is soooo complicated...

It's all pale colors of course, but then varying transparencies. I've used it *only* as an overlay to another color, because otherwise you can't hardly even see it. Oil Slick is another that uses the same principle with slightly darker colors. And no, I don't think I could *ever* do one o' these beauties. The transparency on the wings over the body = drool.

That's why I like the layers. The wing, body, shading and stripes are all separate layers. And I can do a pearl-like color, but the filter overflows the lines (I used it in Mystic's, for her white wing...I need to save that...) so it would be a little more work for the body.

Yes, but they have slight breeding restrictions/regulations when breeding away from the EverRealm. Namely, females will take more than one male at once, and they won't mate with canine dragons.
